KOEI Warriors Unifier Posts: 1,757 Group: Members Member #7,496 Joined: May 22, 2007	In SW2 - By pure luck during the shop, yes. In SW2XL - Due to the orb synthesis, no. You are locked in with the stats on your 4th weapon on 2. You can do alot of re-loading your data and try over and over again with a Demon element weapon and 8 slots to get lucky. However in 2XL, its not necessary as I said with orb synthesis. Oh, and the demon element is severly nerfed in XL. Edited by GoW, Apr 6 2009, 04:53 PM.

I have 3 weapon types so far. Fire, lightning and a tornado (I guess this is wind but I have tested it out and am not sure what it does). Can you only get demon on chaos?

KOEI Warriors Unifier Posts: 1,757 Group: Members Member #7,496 Joined: May 22, 2007	You stand a better chance of getting it on Chaos, but usually its just random. And Wind really doesn't do much. Supposedly it causes damage even if the enemy blocks, but I've only seen it work if you hit the enemy to the ground in a crowd. Only then does the effect appear.

Actively Retired Posts: 4,128 Group: Members Member #7,393 Joined: May 17, 2007 Gender Male	I've heard the higher floors of Survival Mode on Chaos is a great place to get high tier 3rd weapons. Just be prepared for lots of frustration, and as GoW said, pure luck High Karma and Discern skills should help, in theory, though I don't remember Karma helping much in farming for Rare Skills
