I have to admit i do get annoyed when rpg giants (eg Final Fantasy) are selling massive amounts of games and poor little persona 3 never seems to sell much at all. i guess that's just the way Atlus likes to roll, if they wanted popularity they would have made Persona 4 for the ps3.

Madridista Posts: 950 Group: Members Member #10,840 Joined: November 6, 2007 Gender Male	Ah P3... no better JRPG on the PS2 IMO. I recently bought P4, in terms of gameplay, menus etc. it's improved a lot, but it's impossible to surpass the story, characters and the epic ending of P3.

In retrospect, that was a very ignorant view. I was also surprised that it was published by KOEI. I played it for the first time tonight and I really have enjoyed it so far. The story is interesting enough, the characters are vibrant (excellent VA) and the battle system is nice. I also find the concept of the characters shooting themselves in the heads to summon their persona a tad disturbing but very interesting. Of course at first I didn't understand that was required and was freaked out at the opening movie where the girl seems to be about to blow her brains out and also when the player controlled character does it for the first time (quite an epic moment that was). All I can say is that I was not expecting that. I do feel sorry for a girl though, the one who's standing in the school courtyard nearby a tree. She's been waiting for her boyfriend to take her to some place for a while but she's always standing there

Weapon... I have it all! Posts: 112 Group: Members Member #23,783 Joined: October 8, 2009 Gender Male	It is made by Atlus, but, at least until recently, Koei has been publishing Atlus' games for Europe (and only Europe). PS. Persona 3 is NOT Shin Megami Tensei3. Nocturne is.
