Japanese pronunciation of character names; Sun Jian and Sun Quan

Soldier Posts: 13 Group: Members Member #6,203 Joined: March 21, 2007 Gender Male	http://yueying.net/dw/names/japanese/ I was going through this page and it says that Sun Jian (孫堅) and Sun Quan (孫権) have the same Japanese pronunciation: Sonken. Is this correct, or a mistake?

One of the downsides to Japanese pronunciation based on the original chinese, cases where things are read the same. Plus it's not tone based like chinese so that kinda adds to it at times.

Commander Posts: 952 Group: Members Member #9,616 Joined: September 11, 2007	In the Musou Orochi and Maou Sairin staff rolls it's written "Sonken (1st)" for Sun Jian and "Sonken (2nd)" for Sun Quan, to distinguish them. In Japanese fansites I've often found "Sonken papa" or similar things for Sun Jian XD.
