Use either arrows, staffs, or a fan (easiest) to kill the butterfly. First off, press [Select] twice when you start the mission. You will see three areas that have enemy officers in them. The area you want is the area that is directly opposite of where you come into the middle area. After you look at that map, press [Select] once more, and you'll have a close-up view of what you're doing (this would be the best view for the butterfly thing). When you go into the area that is straight ahead of you when you enter the middle area, you will want to go left, because the place is on the left-hand side. You will skirt the fort, and make your way to the back. Hopefully, you would have "Double Jump" equipped as part of your chi (or you would have to use your Awakened form, but that takes musou away, so I would not use that for something like this unless there's no other option). You will jump to the ledge there and there you will begin fighting the butterfly (which blows bubbles and stuns you if they pop. After defeating the butterfly, defeat the officer in the fort, and go to the next two areas in the mission. I hope this helps you.

	Currently Playing: DW: Strikeforce - Maxing out Huang Zhong and Lu Xun. Hooray for repetitive grinding... Monster Hunter Freedom Unite - Defeating every quest. Curse you completionism!!! "if you played the demo, you'd have known... blah blah blah" not everyone played the demo, ya know? so obviously, if someone is confused about something like this, they probably didnt play the demo! forgive me for the outburst, but god, its so damn annoying seeing that in every single topic where someone is confused about a part of the game that was included in the demo... sigh again, sorry... but there really is no point in saying it to people, instead of actually helping them. I was looking for a giant mutant butterfly to kill. I managed to find it though.

I don't even know how to get the butterflies on the later chapters, save one on the Shu 4th Chapter where you have to fight against Zhuge Liang. It is in the city to the right of where you enter it.

Thank you There are three areas within the stage, the first area is where you fight Zhao Yun and the other two officers after you reach the final area. The butterfly will appear in the second area, the area between the first and final areas. There is a "gate" there but the butterfly will not be closest to the final area. it's to the left and bottom of the second area closest to the start area. It will appear after fighting and defeating the three other officers before Zhuge Liang appears the third time. Edited by kotarofan79, Jul 8 2009, 09:30 PM.

I know you have to defeat the blade carts and other weaponry to get the butterfly to appear.
