Mine: Lvl 25 Zhao Yun Main: Glimmer Strike, 198 ATK, PWR, Arbor Orb+ Sub: Horn Bow , 65 atk, Skill ,Arbor Orb + , Power Orb Chi: R.Hand: Poison Wave L.Hand: Poison Wave R.Leg: Float+ L.Leg: Spring i got the most useless chi's Ever  Currently on Chapter 4, CH1 Boss is really hard(before i learned how to use Fury,Buns and The bow, completed it on my 2nd try at lvl 5,i think) the rest kinda got easer, Cept from CH2 Boss, i nearly broke my PSP Edited by mikejaxer, May 2 2009, 10:47 PM.

For me, I am playing as Zhao Yun and I have
I really like Restore+ since it reduces the use of the meatbuns that you'd have to use instead. However, if you were to be hit by someone like Lu Bu, one would still need to use the meatbuns anyway. |

Well, since I've only been playing the demo, I may not have the "best" setup, but I've grown quite fond of the following for Zhao Yun: Weapon/Orb Main: Dragon Fang + Power Orb Sub: Iron Staff + Power Orb Chi - Control - Vitality - Spring - Leap I think that's it ... the last two might be off, but I know its for jumping/double jumping. I messed around with the Musou Poison as well, but decided I like this setup best. We'll see how much I change this with the full release

Lu Bu Main Weapon - Eternity Piercer Orbs - Area Orb++ and Adept Orb ++ Sub Weapon - Scarlet Dawn Orbs - same as main weapon Chi: Invert+, Control ++, Fury Armor, Rush ++ I'm using Taishi Ci now and occasionally Diao Chan. oh, and other times Guan Yu with a fan lol |

Right now, i'm lvl 49 Pang Tong. Weps, Main: Typhoon Cane Standard with Power Orb ++ Sub: Heron Halberd (Lu Bu's wep) Power with Noctis Orb ++ Typhoon Cane has Metal element, so i use it to stun an officer with, then switch to Lu Bu's wep and go all out. If the officer goes fury, the Dark element will knock them out of it. Chi: Invert (life goes up when attacked, fury only) Control (to lessen the fury gauge reduction) Fury Armor (prevents knockback when fury) Last chi can be anything Right now, i'm soloing my way through chapter 6 with this setup, and i'm doing a pretty good job so far (finished all the side quests, unlocked the Other chars except Lu Bu, and i finished the first main quest) |

Character: Ma Chao Main Weapon: Eon Slicer Orb 1: Luck Orb++ Orb 2: Area Orb++ Sub Weapon: Dragon Fire Orb 1: Luck Orb++ Orb 2: Area Orb++ Chi: Right Hand: Serendipity Left Hand: Restore++ Right Leg: Spring+ Left Leg: Rush++ I almost never use Great Sword for anything. I just like Ma Chao, and like spear. I wish Koei would bring back the old Ma Chao... Anyway, i'm rather cheap with my setup. It involves staying above the enemies at all times with Zhao Yun's air charge attack which is cheap as nails... I'll probably change out Serendipity once I get all the rare stuff in the game. Not sure to what. I havn't really played with much in the way of Chi. |

Right now my setup is: - Focus+ - Control+ - Fury Armor - Aero+ I haven't been going too crazy into finding an ideal Chi setup. Staying pretty much balanced. Weapons get either Arbor Orb++ or Power Orb+ depending on the default attributes. EDIT: Just upgraded facilities yesterday & upgraded my setup EDIT: Was tired of getting knocked down and juggled

Unless the character has a Bow for main, then I use a random for sub, in which case I'll just switch my main and sub orbs). |

Currently I am using this set up on my characters as far as Chis goes: - Fury Armor - Invert+ - Control+ - Spring+ This setup never seems to give me any problems during battle at all. So far it works wonders on Sun Jian and Quan since they are my only highest leveled characters at the moment. Orb set up: Main: Power Orb X Sub: Arbor Orb X and sometimes Bounty Orb+ when I really need gold. |

Now playing Liu Bei Chapter 5 Weapon: Yin-Yang stnd type with power orb++ chi skills using: rush++ charge+ control+ anthrostrike+ well thats just for now haha for future chi skills immortal last stand fury armor seal resist(optional for lubu only) control and thats it

In addition to Seal Resist, I would get the other Resist chis. They're extremely useful against elemental attacks. I use Heavy and Poison resist when I go to the Ice Bi Xie mission, since Sima Yi and Zhen Ji are weak to my weapons (Sun Ce). |

I have to disagree there. Near the end of the game you will spend most of your time in Fury mode. Only Resist chi I find useful at that point is Seal Resist when facing Lu Bu in Chapter 6 missions. Poison can't kill you as long as you have Invert + or Immortal equipped, Heavy only prevents you from jumping and it doesn't even last long, Release prevents you from blocking but you don't need to block while in Fury, Fire does minimum damage to player in my opinion, and Water might be slightly annoying but again, Invert/Immortal prevents you from dying. This s what I use with lvl 40-50 characters: - Anthrostrike+ - Immortal/Invert+ - Control ++ - Fury Armour However, in Death Beast fights I usually replace Fury Armour and Control ++ with Aero+ and Seal Resist. As for orbs, it always depends from the stats my weapons have but usually I equip Fury, Power, Area, Adept, Dark or Wood orb (I use STD and PWR mainly) |

For Death Beasts i use Aero+,Mechastrike+,Swift Rush+,Fury Armor. I manage to kill Death Tiger in 5 secs with Zhao Yun. If only i saved it was by far the best time i did in a while. For any mission i just do Anthrostrike+,Last Stand+,Immortal,Fury Armor. If i sub out Last Stand+ i replace it for Pierce+ and Immortal for Invert+. Then i would use Hero Tome+ instead of Storm Gloves. To bad this set isn't as strong as the Stand/Immortal combo. Also if you can kill fast enough Robust Pills and Fury Pill+ should handle the rest. I manage to always beat Ice Bi Xie without using the second pill. Same to basically any mission that doesn't involve a lot of movement like In the Depths or Death Phoenix |

But why? They're overall a waste of space when playing with level 50 character >_>. Sun Ce's Despot Strike is pretty deadly with Atk and Fury boosts, so you could just make it even deadlier by using Chis like Anthrostike and Aero. |

I've been pretty consistent with my Chi setup since the last time I posted here, but I did change orbs: Chi Focus++ Control++ Fury Armor Aero+ Orbs Power Orb X Fury Orb++ As my character levels up, I'll use Vitality, Last Stand, Spring, etc. as placeholders until they are high enough to use the ones above. I haven't used Anthrostrike or Immortal yet. I don't recall off the top of my head what Anthrostrike does and I don't care to use Immortal since things are already easy enough without it

You are asking me why? I do it because I want to do it that way. Why is it so difficult to understand? As I said, I will use anything I have depending on the enemy commanders and other factors. That includes any and all Resist chis and anything else. Of course, what you said is only your opinion and you are welcome to it. It doesn't mean I will follow your lead and do what you do, though. |

You must really be bad at speed runs, no offense. Some of them require high grade attack up items.
