Officer Cards; usage and ideas

Elite Soldier Posts: 32 Group: Members Member #21,921 Joined: May 7, 2009 Gender Male	My town is fully upgraded and yet I've not collected all the officer cards while they still randomly appearing now and then. I'm guessing these cards are merely in-game collectibles besides their main purpose of upgrading the town. (?) Would be fun, if KOEI implement a mini card game, some sort like what we have in Final Fantasy. Just a thought.

I have all kinds of bonuses (same attributes, force, etc.) and none of the facilities have even leveled up in 2 whole chapters. What the heck is going on? It almost seems like they're not even going up at all....
	I am currently under leave of absence from the site. I have become tangled up with work and have turned my attention away from the site, as I have unfortunately lost interest and do not have the time to dedicate to it. Seems like a glitch but it works all the time. When u got back to town after quitting missions, your town will accumulate points as shown on lower right of screen (Academy, Blacksmith ..... etc) . U can do that as many times as possible but bear in mind, you still need the required experience and materials to make weapons.

It almost seems like they're not even going up at all.... I think that when the gauges of the facilities are completely maxed out, that's when the facilities are at their highest level. I think Level 5 is the highest it can go. You will get even higher individual cards from the officers (and leaders) of each of the three main forces, and maybe the five other characters as well at times. Currently, I have about 5 of the Wu, and about 4 of the Shu, and I think I have about 3 from Wei, and they are all above 20. Liu Bei is like 30, and I think the same goes for Sun Jian. Posts: 3,661 Group: Members Member #4,250 Joined: November 19, 2006	I have about 84% of my cards completed but I am missing a few rare cards. I still need 1 Wu (Sun Quan), 4 Wei (Cao Pi, Xiahou Dun, Dian Wei, Sima Yi) 4 Shu (Zhang Fei, Guan Yu, Ma Chao, Yue Ying), and 2 Others (Lu Bu and Diao Chan) rare cards. I don't care about the generic cards as much but I still need a few of those as well. The thing is I don't really need them being as I maxed out all my facilities but I just want them for the completion part which I hope doesn't take too long with getting them but I already ran into Huang Gai 3 times and Sun Jian twice which is starting to get annoying being as I already have their cards.

Actively Retired Posts: 4,126 Group: Members Member #7,393 Joined: May 17, 2007 Gender Male	Someone gave me the tip to try and upgrade city facilities by focusing all the officer cards on one facility at a time, and on the higher facility levels this seems to work very well. I currently only need to level Exchange, Blacksmith and Workshop (I think) to complete my upgrades. @ Jiahe: Ironic, seeing as how I have all the Shu ones you're missing

I have to wonder why they have some of those special upgrades because by the time you have acquired those rare cards, your facilities are already leveled up

I was able to combo a couple of them at the same time, but it only benefitted me when my facilities were at level 5 I was hoping to get at least one of those 5 tiger combinations, but I am missing at least one of each I just now realized that I had the 5 beauties special combination available to use though

I just picked the highest number cards to level the facilities quicker lol. I guess the combos don't mean much after they reach level 6? Oh well, I don't care at this point. I just need 12 more cards to complete my collection which I hope doesn't take too long. EDIT: I finally got my Sun Quan card, I am so happy! Edited by Jiahe, Jun 16 2009, 02:08 AM.
