when i see thos cut scences between stages, i just feel like watching them forever. thay do such a great job with combat and stuff and there just awsome. (sw2)

i think it would be awsome if koei made a movie for sw.

thay could start from kenshin and shingen and end with tokugawa with japan. or if that seems that would drag on a bit, just make a movie about nobunaga uniting japan.

it dosent have to stick to history, just make it go on teh same time line, just like thay did with sw series, but make sure to add everyone. (or close to everyone)

the makers of final fantasy made a movie from there games, so y not koei do the same with one of there games. i think it would be a real good step for them (unlike making a porn movie for dw <_< )

just up the grapics abit (only problem is that koei are japanese and the mouth syncing isent good for english :/ ) i dunno about changing the voices, i love em tbh, and just ..yh. y not :) :( :?: :?: (thay could make one for dw6 insted i dunno, i just think sw is so much better then dw)

this is my 2end post on this thing so yeh lol.

comment and stuff and maybe get this to koei!!!!!! :shifty:  . i just think it would be awsome :)

Certanly an interesting and good idea, but it's 55 years to cover from Kawankajima (although you should start at Okehazama) to Osaka Castle with masses of events to cover. And of course, some of the stuff in Samurai Warriors is fictional.

I think it would work better as a TV Series personally

Nice Idea

I think it would be great with really good graphics like FFVIIAC
or to use actors but make it more exciting than the ROTTK drama series but not make it too tacky and make sure it doesnt end up like a superhero movie
an anime movie would basically be Sengoku Basara...

I would stick with FFVIIAC graphics tbh

If done in the style of the Final Fantasy movies, I think it'd be good. Maybe split into anywhere between 3-6 movies covering Okehazama to Sekigahara (through Oda, Toyotomi, and Tokugawa's reigns)

Watch the movie "Goemon". If they ever made a game based of the musou series I imagine it being like that, 1 vs 1000 for sure lol.

I've edited the topic title to make it a little more appealing. It's best not to use smilies in the titles of topics, as it can turn people away or put them off from entering.

As for my thoughts on it, I'd love to see one, but I know one would never come about. I imagine it would take KOEI a long, long, long time to put together a full length movie in CG. Square-Enix are an exception I guess. Final Fantasy has a HUGE following, one of the biggest in the gaming world. FF movies are bound to be successful due to that, especially if it's based off their most loved game in the series, Final Fantasy 7.

I don't think KOEI has a big enough following to warrant a movie. I'm hoping for a lot more CG scenes in SW3 however, but with it being on the Wii I'm not sure on the likeliness of that. The SW2 CG scenes were lovely and very well done, lets hope KOEI keep up that standard with it's sequel.

There is already movies about the Sengoku era. Plus with something like Samurai Warriors, I'd say leave it as a game. If your talking about another historical Sengoku film, fine. But a movie adaptation of SW? NO! Unless KOEI wants to embarrass itself.
