well. i have just finished the story modes and quite a few of the new dream modes, i'm sure all this was discussed in the main MOZ thread, but i had the Japanese WOZ version and hence did not get the most out of much of the dialogue.

while i realize that this may be a bit late, and interest may be flagging on any version of WO with SW3 coming soon, but those topics are so full of nonsense and spam, i'd like to get a more interesting discussion going here for those who are just playing the PSP version and realizing the implications of some of the new Dream mode content.

first and foremost i always thought that Da Ji might not be the heartless vamp she's been portrayed as, and it's proven in the Benkei/Himiko/Masamune Dream, at the end Wukong demands that they accompany him to Kiyomori after his rescue of them at Mikatagahara. so Da Ji DID NOT just turn Himiko over to Kiyomori willingly, he sort of took her when Da Ji was at her weakest. Da Ji has a sad face in the dialogue when she agrees to go with Wukong, indicating that she knows where all this is leading.

second. Wukong and San Zang. their English dialogue together is impossibly silly, but when you change to the Japanese VA, the tone appears to be a little darker. San Zang is more matter-of-fact and less cute, and Wukong is much more aggressive and resistant.

along with these bits, there's TONS of extra inserted dialogue in all the stories. as i am working on the Dream modes, and will be going back to play the Story modes on Hard and Chaos for weapons and proficency, i'm sure i'll find more.

if you are just starting the English WO2 PSP or recently completed it, please feel free to discuss your thoughts on some of the new insights.
