Hey everybody wassup? The one and only Juggalo Warrior here. Anywho i'm having trouble on the Death Phoenix in Shu Chapter 6 and I was wondering if anyone could help me out? Here's the character i've been using GuanPing Level 45 Weapon: tortoise Bite 2nd: Fable Maces Chi Restore Absorb Spring+ Rush++ I've been trying to get the Wu Shen Pike but I cant find a Warrior soul. Since you are using staves, I recommend using Zhou Yu's Staff. It has good S combo in air and R1 + T shoots long range elemental balls. Death Beast battles should be handled in fury mode so you should equip more Fury Chis. Fury Armor, Invert +, Control ++, Aero + and Mechastrike + are useful. Equip at least two of those on your character. My personal setup was Fury Armor, Invert +, Spring + and Rush ++. As for items, Elixirs and Robust Pills are good enough. If you have Invert, you keep recovering health while being hit in Fury mode and if Lu Bu manages to inflict Dark on you and you take a lot of damage, just go to previous screen and use the recovery point there. Time limit is 60 minutes so there's no rush. |

Mechastrike + would only work on machines (spinning blades and the like), as far as I know, the death beasts aren't machines, so it would probably be better to use Anthrostrike +. |

Allright thanks for the tips. Though I am having trouble finding the stuff needed for Orbs and Chi i'm working on getting the Anthrostrike +. Also good idea on the Invert there LoW. Never thought of that. Where can I get Mystery Charm and King's Amulet for the Anthrostrike+? |

I haven't tested it myself but I saw a video on YouTube where the player used Mechastrike + and recommended it. I know that Cao Cao drops King's Amulet in Battle of Chi Bi but I don't know about Mystery Charm. Best thing you can do is go to GFAQs' DWSF boards and type the name of the materials on search bar. Each material probably has at least one topic  . It's been helpful for me at least.

Allright I was able to get the King's Amulet from Cao Cao like you said. I looked at Gfaqs but couldnt find anything. Any idea where I can find the following? Warrior Soul Meteor Lump. |

Warrior Soul is dropped by Xu Zhu in Chapter 6 - Manipulation. It's a rare drop so you should equip Lucky Orb ++ to increase drop chances. Meteor Lump is a bonus reward from Yi Ling - Shu forces. You have to clear the battle in 5 minutes. You can also obtain it with Wu forces but I don't know what the bonus objective is. |

It took me awhile but I beat all the Death creatures with: Zhao Yun lvl. 42 Weapons: Dragonfire (it's Zhao Yun's best spear) Dark Night (ow whichever staff you choose) Chi: Invert+, Aero+, Control+, Last Stand+ If you are using a character with a lot of strength, this combo is good. Another hint I found for the Death Tiger is to get rid of Diao and Lu and spam Windstone+ until dead. Do not use Rush and Spring, being in Fury mode gives you 1 extra jump and dash. Make sure you also use meatbuns, elixers, robust pills. If you are lucky enough to have the earth gift crafting item, use it to make the Immortal Chi (you cannot die while in fury mode) and substitute that for invert. Sorry this post is so long but hope it helps!!! |

I saw all the reply's but I'm still having troubles with the Death Phoenix. Diao Chan is no more a trouble since she is beatable, but Lu Bu are a pain in the ***  . And the damage I deal to the Phoenix are still poor. Poison don't work so... what should I do?  Zhou Yu - Lvl 50 Scarlet Dawn, "Stnd", Arbor Orb ++ Titan's Might with the same as up. Chi Focus, Restore, Spring +, Rush + I'm looking if I can create Orbs more powerfuls... any tips for that and the battle with the Phoenix?  See ya! |

My damage to Death Phoneix is poor too... Also does Lu Bu keep re-appearing?  I can't keep defeating him because he just drains my resources forcing me to waste it on him.

Yep, Diao Chan "dies" but Lu Bu re-appears anyways. I killed him like five times and still re-appears. It's annoying cause you're only focus on Death Phoenix but that goddamned piss you all the way. Too wastes the buns, elixirs and whatever you have. There's one way to be calm until he re-appears and is just when you kill him. A merely 30 secs until he comes back.  I'm going to try again.  See ya! |

I was able to defeat all three death beasts with Sun Ce. I used his third weapon (Stoic Strike) and Lu Bu's third weapon (Heron Blade Halberd). It didn't take that much to do anyway. It was surprisingly easy. |

Finally I was able to beat Death Phoenix... after 10 tries or more ... but then... omfg, Death Tiger? That one was down after a pair of fights, the last one the tiger morhped onto a Kitty  ... but now here's my nightmare: Death Dragon  Not only the Lu Bu respawning sucks, sucks too their cheating AI (with inf musou, inf berserk, inf aura), sucks Diao Chan with her lovely-healing words and sucks too the Dragon.  In a minute, I'm corpose. Now I'm poor cause I bought many weapons (IDK for what, maybe %) before the battles but thanks god now I have the last weapon for Zhou Yu. I'm being lazy with that... Any tips? What Orbs or Chi should use? Any techniques? My technique fails againts Lu Bu, since he cheats... See ya! |

Fury Amor + Invert+ + Dark Resist = Immortality. Why? When in fury, your health never reaches zero and Lu Bu can't inflict Dark on you. Fury armor prevents you from being juggled and interupted. 4th Chi can be anything you like but I would recommend Last Stand, Aero+ or Anthrostrike+. Finally, stock on Elixirs and Fury Pills and you're good to go. |

If you can get Immortal and Last Stand+. All you need to equip is Immortal.Last Stand+.Fury Armor,Aero/Mechastrike. Items should be Flute,Gong,Robust Pill+.Fury Pill+ and Storm Gloves Then you should only target the creature. This will take Tiger and Dragon down fairly quickly.Tiger record being 8-14 secs, Dragon is 13-15. Phoenix takes longer but just bring more of those items. Since it moves around just follow it while attacking it and watch your fury bar since thats when your Robust Pill should be up as well. Eat another to avoid Seal |

See I gave up on Zhou Yu though he is one of my Favorite characters due to his bad attack rating (Why would Xiao Qiao have better atack? ). When I did fight the three beasts I did use Zhou Yu's staff to fight them and did much better.

This is becoming a difficult stage for me. Here is what I got. Sun Quan Level 50 Weapon: Creation's Might (Standard), Arbor Orb++ Sub Weapon: Dark Night (Standard), Arbor Orb++ Chi Anthrostrike+ Invert+ Fury Armor Spring+ I am not sure what weapon is best to kill the Phoenix because the staff isn't putting alot of damage to it plus Lu Bu keeps bothering me. Luckily when I start to run low on health I can go back to the start point and heal myself very quickly with the heal point or just enter fury mode for some health when I get hit. I don't see poison to be very useful here so what's the best way to knock down the Phoenix? If I need a stronger sub weapon and other Chis then I'll have to do some money grinding since I spent all my gold on Quan's Creation's Might lol. |

Finally done it! Zhen Ji Level 45 or 46 Weapon: Temptation (Zhen Ji's best weapon) Arbor Orb++ Attack++ Sub: Steel Staff ( I didnt need it) Chi: Anthrostrike+ Immortal Last Stand++ Control+ Jiahe, It's best to use a staff/flail weapon because the Death Phoenix seems to be weak to it, get on him if you can and just ignore Lu Bu if possible and keep whacking away and he should be dead in no time. Also I suggest you remove Spring, Invert and Fury Armour and just use my Chi setup. Hope this helps.  EDIT: Just beat Death Tiger too! EDIT2: And the Death Dragon. Yeah, I am going to try that setup myself once I get the items and gold I need plus I have to upgrade my Academy Facility at lvl 6 in order to have Last Stand++ because it's not showing up so I got some work to do before I actually try that setup. Thanks for the tip!

I didn't use either a staff or flail. I use Sun Ce's weapon (as I was playing as him) and Lu Bu's weapon, and I was able to defeat the Death Beasts without too much difficulty. Just so you know, if you see the "Blue" color in the targeting marker, it means that the target is weakest against whatever weapon you are using. Like Cao Cao is weakest against a pike weapon. I was able to defeat him three times (as he's the boss three times in the game) with Lu Bu's third weapon. Also, staffs aren't that great against the spinning blades in the Zenith Tower. I have found that it's best to use a spear to defeat the spinning blades, and sorcerers, while using a pike to defeat the cannon fodder and other characters like the other officers in that battle. That's how I was able to defeat the stage the first time without any issue. |
