Really? I just followed what most people said, I suppose I could try that later on. @Kotarofan, hmm really? My bow seemed to do decent damage against Spinning Blades :S I think it is all up to personal preferences. I don't really like the bow all that much anyway.

Posts: 3,661 Group: Members Member #4,250 Joined: November 19, 2006	Is there a Last Stand++? because even after I upgraded my Academy Facility at lvl 6, it's not showing up unless Last Stand++ is just a typo and should just be Last Stand+ which I have. I think I am ready to give Death Phoenix another try.

Frickheads! Posts: 3,661 Group: Members Member #4,250 Joined: November 19, 2006	I actually beaten the Death Phoenix which was actually eaiser then the Death Tiger for me and I don't know either. That damn Tiger kept stomping me to death... I ended up using the Sanjiegun to kill it which gave me better results than the Staff. I still have the Death Dragon left which I am going to do later this evening.

It only took me like 5 minutes to kill it just now. Glad to be done with those beast.

Elite Soldier Posts: 40 Group: Members Member #18,012 Joined: September 3, 2008	I was able to defeat Death Phoenix with Invert+, the Wu Shen Pike with arbor orb and Last Stand. My trick is to use the item that drops most of your stats but greatly increases your attack. I only use it after I defeat Lu Bu so I can have enough time to take down the phoenix. Also it helps conserve healing items for me due to said item making the battle quicker. But when I did run out of meat buns I had that item that extended the time limit (I keep forgetting the item names) so I could go to the start point and use the healing area there.

I'ma new member xD May I ask, would this thread mean to assume that we're not using the Immortal Chi + Fury Pill (item) combo? My combo was this: Cao Pi Weapon: Ultimate weapon for Cao Pi Orbs: Power Orb X, Adept Orb++ S-Weapon: 1 of the ultimate bows, uses Sharp Arrow to make Orbs: Arbor Orb X, Adept Orb++ Chi: RH: Last Stand+ LH: Immortal RL: Seal Resist LL: Rush++ (cuz once I get on the DP's back, I only need to focus on staying on it and since I aim for the Head, dashing with L held down will land me back on its head). Items: Zen Potion++ Trusty Armour Fury Pill Trusty Armour+ Fury Pill+ So basically all I do is at the very start, I eat a Zen pot++, go into fury, eat 1 Trusty Armour and 1 Fury Pill, jump in and finish off Diao Chan and Lu Bu. Then I proceed to get on the DP's back and regular attack it to oblivion. Since Cao Pi's fury mode's regular attack shoots shockwaves, I don't have to worry about not hitting the DP. With Trust Armour on, the lightning doesn't knock me off, while Fury Pills keep my fury mode ongoing without stopping. There is no need to heal since Immortal is On as long as you're in Fury, you CAN'T get out of fury thanks to Fury Pills, and you can't be sealed thanks to Seal Resist. Of course this means getting 2 Earth Gifts which are rather rare... But I seem to get plenty of the particularly rare items (Warrior Soul, Earth Gift, Sky Charm, Sky Gift, etc.etc. from the side-mission where you fight previously killed warriors (Defeat Cao Ren unharmed for Bonus, defeat Pang Tong for victory). Hope that works. Of course the first time I fought with it I didn't get that kind of combo. I relied entirely on Fury Pills and staying alive with dim sums while hoping Lu Bu wouldn't seal me >_>;; Edited by Kilmasis, Jun 1 2009, 08:40 AM.
