i hope this is the right board for this, it IS about koei, afterall...

anyway, they're teaming up with these people to do... what now?

the thing that caught my eye was that "cross edge" game... but another thing that struck me... was that these are ONLY for the UK... what the hell?

...why does america never get any cross over games like these?

usually its because of "copyright" problems, but... if thats so, why do all other parts of the world manage fine with it... it only seems to be america's hang up...

guess its going slightly off the focus of koei now.. i just want some answers is all, and if this really is in the wrong board, then please move it to where it should be, cause i have no idea where it should be if not here...

...i always have horrible times with forums, cause they're never that clear to me...

Well NIS America do translations for Nippon Ichi games, and only have an office/distributing facility in the US I guess.

To it appears they have just hit up KOEI (again) and have a mutual partnership to distribute those games for the PAL/UK audience.

KOEI have done so in the past for the UK audience with the likes of the Disgaea games after all.

Still, any additional support to release games to the PAL/UK audience is a great thing, I hope more companies do such things in the future. :)

Affirmative. It does come out May 19 in North America. GameStop has it listed here.

Also, there's no need to discuss the games themselves here, guys, like screenshots and such. Post such things in their respective topics. You can discuss Cross Edge here. As for Ar Tonelico 2 and Prinny: Can I Really Be the Hero?, feel free to make topics in the Other Non Koei Games section.

With that out of the way, let's keep the discussions going about the agreement itself. NIS America has been bringing over solid games for a while. The Disgaea franchise has one that's bee pretty consistent, from what I've seen. I think it's an honor that Koei has chosen to still do business with them. They're a reputable company, for sure.

Also, there's no concern for "big boobies" here lol. That's actually Morrigan from DarkStalkers, which is a fighting game owned and developed by Capcom. She makes an appearance in Cross Edge as a playable character. So really, that's not even NIS's doing lol.
I am currently under leave of absence from the site. I have become tangled up with work and have turned my attention away from the site, as I have unfortunately lost interest and do not have the time to dedicate to it. If you wish to contact me, click on my username to find my MSN and AOL contacts, and I am also on Facebook, as well. Don't worry, I'm not gone forever, and I'll try to be on from time to time when I find the time, and once I regain interest and find more time on my hands, I'll be back. Thank you all for understanding, and see you around.

The thing that caught my eye with the news of new titles from KOEI is Warriors: Legends of Troy. This seems to be something along the lines of Ancient Greece and its fight against the mighty Trojan Army. I hope that this will also be made available to the PSP system. I would think that they'd even have some of the deities play a role in this game like Ares and Athena. This would be an awesome game to get.
This is my signature... don't you like it?

That game caught my eyes as well. People have suggested Warriors game which would take place on ancient Greece for many years now and it seems KOEI's finally going to give us a game like that.

The "Warriors" word in the title also suggest that it will feature a similiar gameplay to other Warriors games.

THE KING OF THE KOEI GAMES IS COMING==> Warriors: Legends of Troy

"...This will be the first time in KOEI's history that the company publicly debuts new titles outside of Japan."

and

"Three thousand years ago, a poet sang of heroes strong enough to stand alone against an army. For love, they sailed the world. For family, they made the greatest sacrifices. For honor, they stood and faced the will of gods, and fought a war which shook the earth..."

I think, the new announced game "Warriors: Legends of Troy" is a very very very interesting game !!!!

I hope, KOEI and TECMO work together on this game!
