It's unbelievably annoying leveling something that person doesn't use

I use the bravery orb with one or both weapons. You get more EXP that way, and yes, even the lowest orb gets you some added EXP at the end of the stage. It's noticeably more with the other 2 orb of the same name with increasing degrees.

I find that to be the easiest way of getting more EXP, but it's doubly easiest with replaying stages. Even so, I would still use Bravery orbs anyway.

EXP as in weapon EXP not stats. I can do stats without Bravery in like a day. Getting a character to lvl 50 is easy its the weapon preference that is hard.

Are you asking about the weapon skills? Sword, Spear, Pike, Staff, Bow, Tech?

And yeah, leveling that weapons that you don't use normally is a Nightmare. What's the best way to level them? I notice that they grow on how many enemies you kill, but rater than that, don't know better techniques to grow it up faster. :(

Varely I've got 1000 on Staff and over ~900 on Sword. The others are still growing... -_-

Sorry if I'm wrong.

See ya!
The best attack is a best defense.

Now Playing:

Dynasty Warriors Strikeforce

no you can still get exp after they are level 50 it doesn't stop - you just need time and patiance - my Taishi Ci is level 50 and has 1000 in staff and spear and working on bow at the moment which is around 700-800 can't remember

it will only go up by 1-3 usually though because there isn't the added bonus on level up unfortunatly

My Sun Quan is at lvl 50 with the sword at 1000 but my Spear level on him is really bad... 395 while my other weapons are between 600-760. I am not too worry about level grinding weapons I hardly use on him, just seems kinda pointless at this point since I am almost done using him anyways.

All of the weapon types for my Sun Ce (level 50) is above 600, Sword and Tech: 601, Staff (the one I am using since I want to use Crimson Sun): 655, and Bow: 741.

My Spear and Pike are both 1000.

By the way, the abilities do not update, correct? I have my Attack, Movement, and Resistance at 500, while my Life, Fury and Defense are at 402, 417 and 422 respectively.

Correct. Each character will max at 500 in only a couple/few categories so as to keep them somewhat unique.

I don't know about weapon proficiency though ... do they all cap at 1000 for each character/weapon?

I know characters are better with some weapons than others, and that they level up differently based on that, but I didn't know if only the weapons the characters are best with cap at 1000 ...

All characters have two sub-weapons which have higher starting stats than other subs. The only exception I've seen so far is Lu Bu who has three (spear, staff and bow). If you keep using the better subs while leveling up your character, you should get them to +800 when you reach level 50.

I know many dont like to do this but you just need to keep replaying sub missions over and over sometimes to get strong enough.
