Posts: 209 Group: Members Member #22,874 Joined: July 21, 2009 Gender Male	So Very True, downloadable content for other games like Rock Band has to be paid for, so getting it for free is good, but it could be better i'm sure you agree, that they recycle too many maps!, Download Pack 4 is a bit better with Ice Tian Lu, but most of the same stuff, but intrestingly no shu arena..... i wonder?

Commander Posts: 855 Group: Members Member #8,559 Joined: July 16, 2007	Don't expect entirely new maps and quests when the DLC is only a few kilobytes. All the "DLC" is is a bunch of raw data that generates new/recycled missions. In other words, it's a quick and easy way to keep the game relatively fresh by using materials that are already on the game disc.

Posts: 209 Group: Members Member #22,874 Joined: July 21, 2009 Gender Male	Don't worry the PSN goes funny like that sometimes, like yesterday i tried downloading the Dissida Demo, and instead of the download starting, it requested i download it from the PS3 store instead! The PSN must be experiencing problems,@tetsuno9999, i never knew that, but i wouldn't mind it being 10MB bigger if it meant that there was new maps and levels on it, wouldn't you?

I found Ice Tian Lu to be a pushover though ... I think the normal one is harder

Actively Retired Posts: 4,128 Group: Members Member #7,393 Joined: May 17, 2007 Gender Male	Eh, the normal Tian Lu always gives me fits since I'm usually using a character who's still in the process of leveling up and sometimes doesn't have a suitable weapon to use against it. Most of the time, I'm under-leveled when I face the Chapter 2 normal version and then again under-leveled against the 5-star Chapter 2 version >.< I clear the stages no problem ... just don't always beat Tian Lu since Dong Zhuo usually sticks his grotesque pig face in the way

Soldier Posts: 6 Group: Members Member #23,221 Joined: August 19, 2009 Gender Male	I just downloaded the pack today, and as soon as i got onto the Ice Tian Lu level i quit because of Zhang Jiao's unbearable voice The other levels are probably too hard for my character, though. I got the game 2 weeks ago and have a Level 37 Liu Bei on Chapter 5 of Shu... so i guess it's underlevelled.

I was hoping for something a bit different for one of the stages (won't spoil it) but still, all were 5-star stages and anytime I get to beat on Zhao Yun multiple times I won't complain

You can quickly increase your bank with the amount given (at least 8000g if you don't use the Bounty orb on your weapon).

Did KOEI put it up properly? i've never had this problem before except with the last DLC pack but it let me download that one eventually...

Actively Retired Posts: 4,128 Group: Members Member #7,393 Joined: May 17, 2007 Gender Male	Just played all of DLC Pack #6 ... cleared them all easily, as usual Then again, using level 50 characters makes everything easy I hope the description on the Return to the Arena battle isn't true ... I've seen more Arena battles in the JP DLC and hope that this one wasn't the "final" one We can expect at least one more DLC pack that will include Tiger Assault though EDIT: Oh wow, after playing through all of the DLC packs, I just now noticed that clearing the bonus objectives in Bird Chaos! gets you 8000G Since that simply means defeat Liu Bei & SSX, that's a pretty easy 4000G right there. The birds do take longer though. Not sure if its faster than the 4000G Ice Bi Xie mission 2x though ... Edited by Mr.Honda, Oct 20 2009, 04:35 PM.
