hello. new to this community and to dynasty warriors. mainly ordered it from amazon because it was cheap, and it has gundams.i am currently anxiously anticipating it's arrival. i have played other gundam games from bandai in the past.so far my favorite is m.s. gundam-encounters in space. i was wondering what other peeps think of this game in terms of enjoyment and overall re-playability.i read some mixed reviews (just like any other game) and most were not very positive, sighting the game is too easy and the enemies tend to just stand around and not fight back. are there different difficulty levels and those who were claiming such just were too lazy to play it on higher settings? i was really stoked to see a mix of different mobile suits/pilots from different eras of the gundam universe on the website. i hope it is as advertised. i must say, i haven't seen a game with the likes of rumba rahl and his suit in the same game with wing zero and heero yui and am very excitied about the possibilities. does this game use a "lock on" interface during combat like previous titles? or is it button mashing hack and slash interface? the lock on one seems to be more like the real thing especially when surrounded by enemy mobile suits. anything else i should know going into it without actually giving anything away? thanks.

Welcome to the site =D

This game is a really fun distraction. In terms of difficulties, yes, there are 3 different settings but on top of that some missions have an inherent difficulty (e.g. final missions in story mode or missions that unlock level 4 parts for your gundam).

There are gundams from many different universes and likewise with pilots. If you bought the EU or NA version of the game you may be dissapointed to know that it does not have JP language but the voice acting really isnt too bad. Especially for the more popular characters.

There isn't a lock on system per se. There is a camera lock when you fight mobile armours and some SP attacks have a degree of lock on'ness (e.g. the RegZ).

There is A LOT of content in this game and it will keep you occupied for aaaages. I have been playing this game for about 30 hours and have still only just completed Char's story mode and almost finished all of Milliardo's mission mode. The mission mode is a really fun distraction from the story mode by the way.

The Gundam customisation isn't amazing though. The parts you get are visually identical for every gundam which is a shame. However you can slot in different abilities to each part to improve your gundams abilities. (It's confusing at first and I dont think the manual really helps but you should get the hang of it yourself as I did).

In summary, ENJOY! =D
