Cao Ren's snotty, vindictive true musou quotes from DW6. "How stupid can you be?" ... "Be punished!" After giving Ren such a cohesive and admirable characterization in DW5, I don't understand why KOEI felt the need to "fix" what wasn't broken in the first place.  They should have used "You leave me no choice." (Which was his standard musou quote, but it's perfect for him - and should have been a no-brainer pick for a game where characters only have quotes for true musou.)Wei Yan's Orochi series officer KO line just grates, both in delivery (sounds like the voice actor is straining his vocal chords like whoa) and content (dopey rather than terse and tough). "Me...enemy...defeat!" Pretty much anything that Kojiro Sasaki says. His tone of voice squicks me. Zhang He does the *~BEAUTIFUL~* schtick better, thanks. Nene's comments about spankings and naughty children. I don't need to be mothered by somebody who looks half my age. |

Anytime Sun Jian in Warriors Orochi emphasize the word "momentum" with the huge TUM at the end. "Good! Keep up that momentum!" I just find it annoying how he says that. >_> The recycle quote of "They sure don't make enemy officers like they used to!" originally used by Yoshihiro Shimazu and then carried over to DW6 for Huang Gai. The same applies for Ranmuru's "I grow stronger with every victory!" which was then carried over to Yue Ying.

mine's gotta be Honda's "i am a man of peerless might!" and also a re-quote:Xiahou Dun's "another victim!", which originally belonged to Noh, i believe. |

Every single letter SW1 Okuni throws out is pure annoyance. "Peshaw" "Oh for shame" "What can a lady do to help?" Can drive me crazy. I also disliked Nene's "Did I just do that all by myself" and Oichi's "Watch out! watch out!" when he does her C1

DW6 comes along and not only ruins her attire, but her voice as well. Sorry, when spoken by a high pitched girly-girl, the quote loses its meaning. That and it's irritating. I forgot to add Dong Zhuo's DW6 "Gahahahaha!!" everytime you defeat an enemy officer. It got annoying to the point I actually muted my television when I was maxing him in the game the whole way through. It just gave me a headache. |

 For me, its Zhao Yun's "A contest - which of us can claim greater glory?" 100-KO praise quote from Warriors Orochi I mean seriously, its Warriors Orochi. Just imagine how many times you'd hear that when he's an ally and you average 800+ KOs per stage The worst is when you have to endure it while he's constantly struggling: *Zhao Yun is struggling! message* *100 KO message* Zhao Yun: "A contest - which of us can claim greater glory?" Me: ".... lolwut? Why don't you worry about saving your own @$$ and STFU!"

I think we have had the same gameplay experience: I've never yet heard him say that when he's not struggling. When I played with my friend we'd have contests to see who could more quickly reflexively answer: "Me." There's also a few that we'd snap sarcastic additions after the irritating quotes, or modify them. Like: To which my friend started responding "Who says a woman has to be cute?" It was so unexpected I almost dropped the controller, laughing. Or Zhen Ji's "When I see something I want, I simply reach out and take it." Her power is 'fire', and I was leveling her to unlock everybody's infinite Renbu, so I was using the ability a lot. My friend interrupted her to change it to: "I simply reach out and torch it." I hate hearing generic officers say "You are an ASSET to this army." or something like that in SW2. They put so much stress in asset, it drives me nuts! It's funny, I love Zhang Jiao and Hideyoshi, I think they're cute I hate it when Motochika talks about bats. And when Sun Quan talks about the glory of Wu. |

As much as I love Sun Quan and all, I just don't like his victory quote in DW6. "I am a true member of the Sun family!" Isn't being apart of the Sun family enough for him that he doesn't need to proclaim it with a "true" feeling to it? That is a rhetorical questions if you get my drift.

I'll agree to that. And I believe I cant say it any better then Nasser did. Anything that SW1 Okuni says just makes me cringe. "Peeshaw" Zhang He: "This base is in desperate need of redecorating!" "Let us dance through the enemy's camp!"

I agree also that Xu Zhu also has annoying quotes especially his voice in Dynasty Warriors 3!  Just terrible!!! Just horrible!!!Hmm. I despise everything Yuan Shao says in DW6 Special. But most annoying of all is Zhang He. "As always, my victories are always tinged with a hint of beauty."  "My beauty shall not be soiled by defeat! I shall return!" "How could my beauty had fallen in such a way?" Not to mention Sun Shang Xiang: "It's time to attack! The enemy does not stand a chance against us!" "I won't forget this!" And SSX's grunts! Also Keiji's quotes in SW2.

Sun Shang Xiangs voice was ruined in DW6. it became so high pitched and sqeaky, just like Xiao Qiao. Ugh! Also any quote where Oichi speaks of fate or destiny EEEERRRKKKSSS me BIG time! Oh! ROFL and Ranmaru's voice in SW1 was hilarious..,so was Okunis. Her ending dream quote from SW1 drives me mad. "Yesterday was history today. Today is tomorrow's history" LOL OMG! SW1 Okuni shut up!
