Why the heck is it so difficult to obtain this item? I have tried to get it the last hour or two so that I could get Cao Pi's fourth weapon. Warrior Soul is extremely elusive. I need to know exactly where I can get it. I mean pinpoint location, so that I would have a far easier time in locating and getting the item. I know that it's available after the Academy is fully upgraded, but I am not spending days on upgrading the academy just to get it. I am talking about in-game location. I have only found it once in-game, and it was from a regular soldier in "Bewitching Lands." There are "guides" that say it is available from Sun Zhong within "Bewitching Lands," and Xu Zhu and Zhao Hong within "Manipulation," but it's not really the case. I have played those stages again and again, and I have yet to see Warrior Soul. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

Haha, seems like you have the same problem I had with Yuan Shao and Dragon soul (y) in Zenith Tower. Took me 10 tries before I got my first one. Anyways, I can assure you that Xu Zhu drops Warrior soul in Manipulation. It's a rare drop, though, so you just need to keep trying. Having Lucky orb++ on your weapons always helps but don't count too much on it. I've never seen Zhao Hong in Manipulation. If you are able to fight him, would you mind telling me how? And as for Sun Zhong and Bewitching Lands, I haven't confirmed it myself. I just added it here since that's a location many people mentioned on GFAQs. I doubt they would lie about something like that, although there's always a chance that they confused Sun Zhong with another officer. Edited by LoW, Jun 18 2009, 08:07 PM.

Both of you were right. I have obtained it and used it along with all the other materials that I gained in order to obtain "Judgment Blade." That sword is huge. Thanks for the help. |

I'm having the same problems with Dragon Soul (Y), Earth Gift and Phoenix Soul. No problems finding Warrior Soul and Tiger Soul though. I just only wasted around 20 Zenith Towers on getting Ancient Leaves from Yuan Shao, and 2x Earth Gift from He Jin *shrugs* Edited by strategist_jeffo, Jun 18 2009, 09:36 PM.

You will get Dragon Soul (Y) on Ice Bi Xie mission (along with Phoenix Soul as well). You can get Phoenix Soul from Zhao Hong on Bewitching Land. Earth Gift is given by Lu Bu in some of the last missions, I think. I can't remember where I had gotten that while I was on my Wu save. I know I have it though. Maybe someone else could help you on the Earth Gift thing. Edit: I am currently playing as Cao Pi, and the last time I posted his leveling, he was at Level 18, but now he's at Level 46, and I have been playing him a total of almost 33 hours. I have played almost the same amount of time with Zhuge Liang and he's at Level 28. Cao Pi's sword proficiency leveling maxes out quickly, at least it did with me. You should do Ice Bi Xie appears! for Dragon soul (y). It's so much faster when all you need to do is to defeat Sima Yi. Even if he doesn't drop it, just finish off Bi Xie or quite the mission and try again. In Zenith Tower, you always have to climb up 10 floors whether you like it or not >_>. |

Got one problem though. I don't have the download for it, I don't know if the download is already available for EU, and I can't seem to surpass "Sealing of Death Phoenix", so I am stuck on doing Zenith Tower. So I'll be needing to get a better weapon, but I need Dragon Soul (Y) for it. Sima Yi is lvl 50 with 500 Defence, but it takes Lu Bu only 3 Hits (Sealing my healing abilities off) to get me killed. Plus I always manage to get that gust load of Death Phoenix when I am dashing away from Lu Bu. So yes, quite stuck untill I find something useful. I'm not gonna use God Mode or Unlimited Musou Mode, though. That's a form of cheating, no fun in clearing the game like that. Edit: Alright, I've got the download now, and still I don't have any Phoenix/Dragon soul. It does take less time to complete the level, so I should be able to spam them up. I'm already at my 6th try.
