For instance the Chi Orb's require certain levels to equip, likewise with the weapons you buy, so you can't go making your character overpowered straight away. And money can be really tough to get hold of, especially when some healing items are expensive. The best thing to do with money is to sell your material items (I keep 5 each myself, so in case I needed some I could use them.) Otherwise you can equip the Chi that helps you get more money, Bounty Orb from the Workshop. Though you must equip on both weapons. It's still nothing amazing, though... If you have lots of experience, keep replaying the final chapter, especially the mission called From the Depths because it can be done fairly fast.

Well, you can do as LDZ suggested (which I have done) or you can find a simple battle that requires no items to clear, is quick to complete, and gets you as much gold as possible. For level 50 characters, Ice Bi Xie DLC mission gets you 4000G and may or may not require much items, depending on how well you play. I prefer the Sun Shang Xiang Duel, and here's why: - Very easy, even for lower levels - 1000G reward - Requires no items (musou jar inside on the right) - Can be completed in roughly 15-30sec (using Spear) So far, I haven't found a stage that gets you more gold with less effort than this one, and at the same time doesn't require you to be at a high level to clear. Ling Tong Duel also works well for leveling since Gan Ning infinitely spawns and you can keep defeating him until you get 9,999 points This is just what I do, but its best to find what works for you

I remembered about reading that today as I was playing. I've yet to unlock it myself. What I'm saying is that there doesn't seem to be any concrete way of gaining EXP and money quickly. No ways of exploiting anywho. Everything seems to be smoother in multiplayer (quicker missions, experience and money.) But that's 0-10% of the population I believe. There are the Bravery and Bounty Orbs. Both give more money and deeds (which spells EXP) at certain degrees of use. It's not much, but it adds up in the long run.

Sergeant Posts: 15 Group: Members Member #22,246 Joined: June 1, 2009 Gender Male	On average if you only aim for the Officers, the "Cheng Du" mission (where you go in to defeat Liu Bei, if you're playing Wu or Wei) is probably the most interesting and best exp gaining mission, both at once. I usually end up with 800-900+ exp, only by clearing the requirements (meaning aiming for the officers straight). Takes about 10-15 mins for me, even with a level 30+. That's for exp. As for easy to gain gold, I would say either the duels mentioned above (Ling Tong & SSX), or Map 2's 'Ambush' mission. It gives 600 gold (inclusive of bonus, and near 700 with Bounty Orb++), and about 90 exp if you only aim to defeat the messenger and Xu Rong. I generally finish it within 30 secs to 1 min, even with level 1s. I primarily use this mission to farm for Weapon Stats though As for EASY pure EXP, Mission 1 was my favourite (yes, Map 1, First mission). Grab a weap and dunk a Bravery Orb++ into it, go in, finish the bonus (usually within 30 secs), then go back by 1 map (the map with the 3 doors, 1 of which leads to your start point), and spend about 20 mins continually killing the bandits. They respawn fast and quite a good number, inclusive of the fact that they're easy to kill. Within 20 mins WITHOUT Bravery Orb, I usually get to achieve 9999 points (if I'm not mistaken Max after 9999 is 10099?), in which you'll get around 1009 exp points. Yeah it takes some time, but it's by far the safest and easiest way for me, especially if you're starting from level 1 and just want to level grind first. But that's just my method.
	Maxed: Level 50 Cao Pi (Bow Maxed, currently maxing Tech) Level 50 Lu Bu (Bow Maxed, currently maxing Staff) Level 50 Zhang Jiao (Staff Maxed, currently maxing Bow) Level 50 Dong Zhou (Bow Maxed, currently maxing Pike) In Progress: Level 42 Diao Chan (sub Bow) For Random Friends: Level 40 Sun Shang Xiang (sub Twin Swords) Level 30 Zhen Ji (sub Bow) Level 20 Yue Ying (Sub Sword) Level 10 Xiao Qiao (Sub Bow)

Kill all the peons for 9999 easy deeds, throw 20 eggs for roughly 2000 Gold bonus and up your weapon experience so you can get your better weapons. Equip the orb (forgot the name) which increases your deeds, and you'll be done in roughly 10 minutes.

Posts: 193 Group: Members Member #22,874 Joined: July 21, 2009 Gender Male	I've Just found a great way of leveling a Character up, On the Battle of Si Shui Gate(Chapter 2) in on of the areas containg the poison jars there will be blade carts, if you defeat the two there, two more should appear shortly after, after disposing of about 20 they may stop spawning so finish the level and Re-play, you will also be gaining gold at the same time! You can get up to 8000 Points(800exp) in just one play through, but the catch is that it gets very boring after a while

I'm usually trying to clear that mission quickly for the bonus objective Thanks for that info. I hate Blade Carts though I'll stick to Ling Tong Duel spamming if I'm desperate to level quickly

Yoshitsune Has Never Looked Better! :D Posts: 638 Group: Members Member #10,622 Joined: October 26, 2007	The easiest way to level up is by using this method i've done which has leveled up a majority of my characters in no time. Make sure you have the Bravery++ Orb equipped or whichever version of it you have then go to the Duel Ling Tong legend battle and simply keep beating Gan Ning and his pirate buddies since he keeps respawning it would be wise to use a Sword or Spear moveset on him since those are his main weaknesses and in a mere matter of minutes you'll have 9999 points straight away this can also be done with the Duel Zhang Jiao Stage except it takes fans or bows to defeat him plus you'd need some good timing to beat him without ending the stage too soon. If you're character is a fairly low leveled character chances are they'll level up 2 or 3 more times i've always been using this method and my characters have gotten to level 50 within a couple of days i hope this method proves useful to others that use it too Edited by SJFaith, Nov 5 2009, 02:52 AM.
