anyone know how to unlock all the CAW outfits?i want to get that out of the way. i apologize if this has been answered already

It is if you're low leveled...I've tried it and it's a pain in the ass just because Cai Wenji can't defend herself...and she takes the longest routes ever... What you need to do is get to the Cai Wenji requests. Take one request and when you finish saving in a different file. Then reload File A and save over File B again. Repeat. |

OK heres how to unlock all the CAW outfits, I know Da Qiao Forever has already breifly explained it and wonderpeirrot told us about it but I'll make this little guide here just to Help you guys out. A few things to note: - I recommend playing in officer mode rather than ruler just because in some respects its easier. - You do not have to play as a CAW character to unlock outfits. - Whilst the escort Cai Wenji Mercenary mission will give you outfits there are other Mercenary missions that may net you them (ie. Tiger/Wolf missions) these for me were open alot earlier than the escort missions. - You don't actually find out if the Treasure you obtained in a battle is an outfit piece or just a bonus treasure (ie. Rare Gem) til after the battle so its sometimes just luck. Trick to obtaining them: 1 - When you recieve a Treasure during a Mercenary mission, Just before your about to complete it SAVE to FILE A 2 - When the mission ends and you have recieved your outfit piece, SAVE the game to FILE B 3 - Then once saved LOAD FILE A 4 - Finnish the mission again and recieve your next outfit piece 5 - SAVE the game to FILE B then repeat from step 3 until you have all Outfit pieces. Obtaining The Last Two Armours: To obtain the Knight/Unicorn outfits you need to complete the game, You can use the trick above so that once your about to finnish the last battle, SAVE to FILE A then after the movie sequence the game will ask you to save, so SAVE to FILE B. Then just reload FILE A and complete the last stage again, This way you don't have to go through the whole game again just to unlock the second armour. I hope this helps you guys out!

Somehow,this trick doesn't work for me. The first time I played the stage,I recieved a piece of clothing. But it doesn't matter how many times I play afterwards,I don't get anything.

it's been random for me as well. the first time i tried it i got several pieces of clothing, then nothing. the second time i got 3 pieces, then nothing, and the rest of the times it's been one piece and then nothing. it's taking a little longer, but i'll get them all eventually. one way or another. |

The first time I did it, I got two pieces and then I just started only getting one piece everytime. I have no idea if I have them all or not now but I am not going to worry about it. I'll just get them as I play through the scenarios.

This trick worked really well! By the time I started it I unlocked a lot by just playing through so it didn't take long to get the rest from this. The first three times I got 2 but the rest I got 1. As for the Knight/Unicorn, do you need any special requirements? I completed the game with my male CAW as a ruler and got nothing. |

I think it might have something to do with the difficulty. I completed the yellow turban campaign on easy with my male caw as officer and i didn't get Knight/Unicorn |

Nah the difficulty doesn't matter you have to play the game awhile after completeing 3 scenarios i played the through the battle of chi bi on easy and randomly got the knight/unicorn set after a battle |

i just got the unicorn set last night. I can't wait for the knight one. I'm just going through the scenarios as well. i'll do the cai wenji trick if i'm really that anxious. thanks for the help |

What I experience is that (from JP version)... When you play as Male officers, you unlock Female CAW armors. When you play as Female officers, you unlock Male CAW armors. Therefore, if you want to get BOTH... Then, play once as male and another as female! Since I always set the main ruler/officer as females, therefore, the Unicorn is only armor I don't get... I have to get Lu Bu (or other male officer, I may just random it) for the next playthrough to get the Unicorn armor... Sincerely, Pan2007 ~ Pan2009 (July 8th, 2009) |

Lol,it's the opposite for me. I played as a male CAW and got the knight set,and I played as a female CAW and got the unicorn set. However,both was in Officer mode. When I played YTR as Cao Cao as ruler (it was fun to rebel against He Jin ),I didn't get anything.

i'm fairly sure about this because i did it this way, but in order to get the Unicorn armor you need to play as a female Caw Officer, and for the Knight set you have to play as a male CAW Officer. i completed my first scenario as a female officer under Liu Bei and and got the Unicorn set, then i played a male CAW in Ruler Mode and got nothing. then i completed a scenario as a male CAW Officer under Sun Quan and received the Knight armor. |
