Breaker of Destined Fate Posts: 592 Group: Members Member #12,299 Joined: December 30, 2007	We didn't end up picking up the PS2 version of Special yet, so this is a bit of a windfall for us. I think the PSP will actually have an easier time running the graphics than a PS2, plus extra costumes and Meng Huo is a nice little bonus. But like I said--I was planning to pick up Special and just hadn't gotten around to it yet. Thanks for the tiny windfall Koei. XD

On Shu side, it's no problem aside from making sure that the Peasants don't die (But it's no problem if you know what you're doing.), but on Wei side if you don't haul it, you'll end up losing the stage. As for the game itself, yeah I'm really going to take a wait-and-see approach. The only way I'm getting this is if we get six characters decloned (And I'm not talking about the ones from the PS2 special either). But seriously, Koei need to stop messing with PS3/360 owners with these new additions for PS2/PSP ports.

You can't really trust game companies about exclusive titles! Timed exclusive is a more correct term these days! It's not just Koei btw! Square Enix, Capcom, Tecmo all had done it! I want to play a Dynasty Warriors game with full maps AND voice acting (I guess it will be in, seeing as WO2 PSP has it). My PSP hasn't played a game I like anymore. But there are a lot of good PSP game coming out now, and this will be a nice extra. The new costumes will probably be the one from Strikeforce. And it doesn't say there are new de-clones. On the official site there's "6 previously declones and Meng Huo as playable", not new declones. Though I would like to have Huang Zhong and Xiahou Yuan with their bows from Strikeforce.

Personally, I'd rather take my time in a stage than worry about someone who's escaping. Oh don't worry, I shirk even MORE when I'm playing on Wei's side. I'm just sick of the level. Chi Bi, too. All these levels start looking the same after awhile, and with no Zhao Yun saving the baby event, it's just not fun anymore. 60 second musou was so much fun. As for Shu's side, the AI of the peasants are what tip me off into hating it. They're utterly terrified of Cao Cao, yet they charge his forces. Idiots. Do what Liu Bei, your beloved leader, is doing. RUN LIKE MAD. Besides, personal taste. I'm allowed to like and dislike whatever stage I want. Chang Ban on both sides is one of them in DW6.

If you fell in the water, chances are you'd end up with level 1 Renbu once you found an exit. It was needlessly frustrating and didn't feel necessary at all, so I'm glad it's unlikely to make an appearance in this game. The aerial musou has piqued my interest slightly, but I'm not expecting much. Renbu is always going to be a broken mess until they buckle down and create a new game rather than these half-hearted ports and rehashes.

Posts: 413 Group: Members Member #21,154 Joined: March 9, 2009 Gender Male	I don't think I will be buying this because I hate my PSP and it sounds just like Koei is trying to get money from us as easily as possible proof: 1) psp games cost more than ps2 games 2) there's new features on this version so the japanese fans might import it 3) a port is easier than making DW6XL or even fixing DW6 completely by just skipping ahead to DW7 4) cheaper to make since it's for psp and aerial musou sounds very similar to SF... I don't want the classic DW series to turn SF forever damn I sound negative today x3 EDIT I don't mind swimming in DW6E since you can jump up cliffs so you can get out whenever you want ^^ Edited by Mooglez, Jun 26 2009, 01:24 AM.
