Well that'd be...novel to say the least. About the character trailer...I remember seeing the SB2H character trailer in june-july 2007...about 5 months before the game's release, right? I hope we get something by august...being teased so much might get irritating... I mean, last weekend there was a Basara-related event, and Kobayashi went there, bringing a test play of...SBBH. I mean...it's still kinda new and all, but...after announcing a new game, with little to no info about it, you bring the old game...again? It's like being slapped by a frozen trout, if you get what I mean... |

Eh. A watched pot never boils, and all that jazz. Any way, I still remain fairly set on the fact that we have GOT to get more information before August is up. I mean, if they want to make sure that they can have people "GET HYPE!" for what TGS may bring, they at least need to give us something else to gnaw on for another month and some change. But, we'll see. After all, remember, we're going to be waiting until likely April/May 2010 to play this damn game, at the earliest. It's going to be a painful wait no matter which way you slice/shoot/blast into oblivion with Nouhime's launcher, but at least right now (for me any way)? It's not at the "WHY IS THIS GAME NOT IN MY HANDS!?!" level yet, which is certainly what would happen once the first REAL trailer emerges. ![]() Or......! Maybe Kobyashi-tachi are just basically saying something like...."Ieyasu had to wait for his turn, and you're going to be waiting right along with him! wwwwwww"

Hmm... this is some rumor I heard recently, but with the recent situation it may not be a rumor anymore. But anyway, this comes from people who attended the WeiB Schwarz event ( http://www.capcom-fc.com/basara_info/2009/07/2009_4.html ) which was supposedly attended by Kobayashi. And allegedly there he said that people would expect actual SB3 info to show up sometime in late August. With the lack of any new informations since the first reveal, looks like this might end up being true. Well, at least I have SSM5E, Rockman 9, and soon Katamari Damacy Tribute to kill time for now.

Well better than late September. Iīll do it like you BK and kill some time with SB2:H, SB:BH, FF:D, Fat Princess and Blaz Blue... And in late August finally Batman: Arkham Asylum arrives. So in a gaming perspective Iīm pretty much satisfied.

Rumor or no, again, it does a lot to make sense. Late August would make it so that people would have at least ONE new thing to chew over, until TGS. Plus, by this time in late August, Monster Hunter Tri would have been out for a few weeks (it came out a few days ago). That would definitely be the right time for Capcom to start the "hype train" for something else, with MH3 getting the time in the sun it deserved. |

I wonder if this counts as a hint or not, but from what I've seen at 2ch, some people reported that recently in Toro Station (for those who don't know, it's a newsfeed in PS3) there are a number of joke references to SB series. Could it be.....

Hopefully we get some info soon, don't like to compare it to SW3, but now that Koei has started releasing some info and and the new site will be up on the 8th, it's about time Capcom showed their hand!! |

I agree!! Guess Koei started playing serious when Capcom showed the teaser site? Maybe...I guess it'd be a blast (for us) watching how they duke it out with updates, videos and the like! For once us gamers will enjoy the fruits of their competition... |

You know, with this timeline I can assure you that this year's TGS is going to be a great WAR. ![]() But I wonder when will Capcom open theirs... maybe on 2 more weeks when Famitsu switches its release date on Thursday? |

Aye,the TGS will be one to remember for all of us. Sengoku Musou 3 and Sengoku BASARA 3.Man,i'm so excited for all the information It'd be great if BASARA 3 does make it for the PS3,then I can SM3 for my Wii and SB3 for my PS3. Plus Capcom could get the upper hand on Koei, with a more powerful system.Just aslong as they don't go the SSM5 route...which I doubt

Well and an SB3 announcement for the PS3 would surely push the PS3 sale numbers, especially since there will be a price drop, since theyīve reduced the PS3 Manufacturing Costs Down 70 Per Cent... And I would certainly enjoy it more than having: A) Waggle controlls B) A game on a console that lives with itīs "special controls" for a game that doesnīt have those controls. I mean all the Wii games have nice graphics, but you wonīt play a Wii game for that. The controlls are what count. But since I donīt want those controlls for BASARA...and I hope a lot of others too...what sense would it make to make a game on a console that doesnīt have that much graphical power in trade for a special controller that isnīt even used? SB started on a PS and should make the jump to the next G with it. Over and out. P.S.: It would be easier for me with the region code thing too. God I hate that freeloader. I'd like on the PS3 too...or in the Wii, as long as it allows the use of the GC-like controller... The TGS...this is gonna be a treat...I hope. Capcom can't back out on us....can it? Like your new sig DK! But it needs more Takamura!! :O |

Eh, the old saying that all Wii games must utilize waggle is now all but history. The Wii MH games, as well as that version of SB2+H, and the just recently revealed SM3 show that their controls are more optimized by using classic controller rather than the remote. ![]() But I still believe that SB3 will be released on the PS3, with all the clues currently present... >.< |

I still don't get why SM3 was released on the Wii if it's not going to make use of its controller abilities.Although I have a pretty good idea... ![]() Hopefully Capcom won't take this route e.g. Just put it on the Wii as it has slighlty better graphics and it's 'next-gen' so people will buy it... I do think BASARA belongs on Sony systems and i'll be extremely happy if it is released on the PS3 as it's easier for me to import plus the awesomeness of what BASARA 3 could be if it was on such a powerful console. |

Having played the Wii version of SB2H Double Pack, I can safely say that I'd enjoy it 100% more on the PS3 than I would on the Wii. Everyone's always saying how the classic controller fixes everything. I disagree. It's just such a small and cramped controller for anyone with average sized hands (mine are by no means gorilla hands), it's just very uncomfortable to hold for more than an hour. It is an improvement, but the Playstation and Gamecube controllers are much better. I hear the Classic Controller Pro is a bit better, but with no release in site for NA, I dunno if I'd ever even be able to use it... unless a Japanese controller would work with an NA Wii? Anyone know? |

By default, yes. There are ways of getting around that though, and they're really not very difficult at all, as long as you have an SD card. Honestly, that's all you need. |

Still, more trouble than an PS3 anouncement. And just imagine: Maybe theyīll release a LittleBIGPlanet Sengoku BASARA DLC...it would sell like warm bread in japan And I would want a Date Masamune Sackboy Another plus point for a PS3 SB3.

Again, my thing is always looking towards that which would continue the forward momentum of the series in Japan. I wouldn't mind a PS3 release in the least, but would a PS3 release guarantee a) a positive step in the right direction for the series and b) that the fans could buy it? I mean, remember that the largest part of the audience is still composed of a) young boys who like flashy things and b) the fangirls. A PS3 release may make it so that that part of the audience wouldn't be able to purchase the game (by virtue of the fact that even now, not everybody in Japan has a PS3, but most ev'rybody has a Wii now). Plus, I'm willing to bet that with Koei making the first shot on the Wii, Capcom will likely want to have their answer in kind, since they're likely aiming for the same audience at this point. But hey, what do I know?! I mean, basically, as long as SB3 isn't exclusive to the likes of the 360 or (even BETTER!) the I-phone, I'm alright! I've got practically everything else! XDIn any case...this is indeed WAR. For right now though, I'm rooting for BASARA...am not impressed in the least by what I've seen of Sengoku Musou 3 thus far, plus I've been basically in the hole for BASARA since 06...and have only fallen deeper and deeper as years go by... Well A) young boys: Allways try to be cool. I mean, I thought Nintendo was cool, but when the Psone came out with games like Metal Gear, Gran Tourismo and Final Fantasy VII? Thatīs the way it is now. Boys are drawn to the "more adult things". And famous games like Mortal Kombat are only for consoles like PS3 and XBOX360. B) fangirls. First: True fangirls will buy whatever they need to get to their Sanada-Boy. Second: With games like Buzz, Singstar, Little Big Planet and also anime games like Dragonball Z Burst Limit, Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm...fanigirls are pleased with the Sony way at the moment... So in that way they should have no problem. And as you said. THIS IS WAR. And I wonder who is going to win, if itīs really a PS3 release... Cause the XBOX360 would be really...well...SM3 on Wii...SB3 for PS3...that sucks P.S.: As youīve all noticed...Iīm all for a BASARA WIN. Especially since we have more females on our side...and if theyīve once gotten something in their mind...they wonīt let go of it...true fangirls... I'd really like to see this on the PS3 because Capcom truly has one of the best 3D engines this generation. Devil May Cry 4, Lost Planet, Resident Evil 5, Street Fighter IV? These games all look gorgeous. And it'd be region free! I don't mind SW3 being on Wii because Koei doesn't push the current systems like a lot of other developers do, and that series is likely to come to the west regardless, unlike Basara. |

I'm sick of Capcom dogging the PS3, we PS3 owners are constantly getting screwed over in favour of the X360 and Wii. If this is anything but a PS3 exclusive, given SB's loyal fanbase on the PS2, I am going to be royally pissed!! First DMC4, then Monster Hunter and now SB?? Besides a Wii release means more of the same, we all want to take the SB series FORWARD and the only way to do that is on a more poweful machine. I like what I see from SW3 so far, but let's be honest the graphics and gameplay look almost exactly the same from the previous warriors games, do we really want the samething for SB?? |
