Well, we don't have any real joke characters yet, do we...? Those were the ones that had funny outro poses, in the end...(and Nagamasa, I guess :D) I feel that Keiji, Kanbei and Tsuru (as of now) won't be THAT serious tho....or at least I hope so... At least Kanbei will try to be serious and say something cool, but something's gonna stop him...kind of like Ujimasa's, I guess.... |

I've been doing well. Thanks for asking, how bout yourself? ----------------- I think seeing Magoichi's gameplay video has reignited my faith in Capcom delivering quality characters. I'm anxious to see what Kuroda Kanbei could do. I'm not fond of his weapon at all...but I have a feeling that he might turn me around on the subject. Btw...How many characters are there left to reveal? |

We don't know exactly, of course...but after revealing Maggie and Keiji (with them the chars were 11) Koba said they still had 2/3 of the roster still unknown. So probably they're going to 33-35 all in all....the problem is, how many NPCs will be there...? |

New article with details on the Sengoku Drama story mode. http://www.4gamer.net/games/094/G009450/20100215026/ Looks like all the preparation menus are now placed together with stage selection. I just wonder how the preparation menu will be in other modes if there's any... |

Can someone make out the locations on those pics? Maybe we´ll be able to predict something, if we know, in which places the stages are. For example if there are three stages on Shikoku we know that there´ll be one more character from Shikoku besides Tsuruhime/Motochika. |

Ok, I armed myself with a map of Japan, so let's see what we can find out. In the first screenshot with Ieyasu, the yellow symbol (I wonder if the colour depends on the army?) is probably his stage (Mikatagahara, I guess?) The purple-bluish symbol on the right (near the small peninsula) is without a doubt Odawara (!!! Does this mean the old man and his ninja will come back??) The blue-whitish symbol above it...looking at the map, it seems to be in the province of Shimotsuke. It's too south to be Uesugi territory (as long as I'm right, of course...) but I wouldn't know what else to suggest... Anyway, the red symbol on the left is surely Ueda castle (Yukimura) Second screenshot The purplish grey icon near Maggie's stage is Osaka. So...assuming this means the Winter/Summer siege of Osaka...it could be a stage for Ieyasu in the latter, but in the former...? The other purplish-grey icon is...Fukui prefecture (Echizen in the Sengoku era)...and I'm drawing a blank...(according to the screenies posted on 2ch, probably Yoshitsugu and/or Mitsunari) The greenish icon on its right is Kanazawa, and it almost certainly indicates Maeda territory. The red-whitish icon that can be seen directly under Ieyasu's stats is Okayama, and that probably means Ukita territory. The purplish icon on Shikoku is kind of far from Aniki's or Tsuruhime's territory (which can't be seen on this screenie), but you never know... In the third screen (with Yukimura) you can seen a whitish icon on the left of Ueda castle, and that's probably Kenshin's stage. The one you can see far north in the distance (directly under Ieyasu's portrait) is probably Masamune's stage. Any corrections are very welcome! Well, well, well. Ukita territory eh? ![]() TBH, I'm not that surprised. Hideie was always among the top contenders, considering his role in Sekigahara. Perhaps hes the other true Mitsunari loyalist we need? Interesting, we now know Yoshiakis in due to a slip up and have a decent lead to assume Hideie might join our roster. Also, Odawara being finally "confirmed" is great news! We knew that it would definitely be making an appearance in some shape or form, as its where Mitsunari and Masamune fought, but being playable is something else... I guess this means the glorious appearance of Ujimasa and Kotaro. Though, why do I get the feeling one of them will be an NPC? Very interesting... Thanks to BK and NDY as always. Theres also some pretty nice shots of Kojuurou and Sasuke. |

Well, regarding the Hojo, I have this feeling that old man Ujimasa will be relegated to NPC again, while Kotaro stays playable as the last ninja standing from the previous roster. Here's hoping Kotaro will have a much more upgraded moveset to compensate for the other ninjas not being playable. That is, if he does end up making the cut. |

I'll be pleased if Hideie joins the roster, he seems like an interesting addition (plus he's not part of SW yet) Could someone explain the Emaki Drama Stage to me in a little more detail? Is it much different from story mode? |

Koen, In regards of Zabii and Itsuki, I personally think they will be excluded. Koba wants his game to be SERIOUS! On the specific case of Itsuki, he mentioned Ieyasu would be the only character to "grow up", so unless she's the series' Athena and gets stuck on the same age... Following on wodash's post regarding the Saika, the way they address themselves could hint that Kennyo is excluded as well (if I'm not mistaken, there was an allegiance between these factions). I wonder if Koba won't sucker punch us and have BOTH Ujimasa and Kotaro NPC. I mean, he does seem the type who likes to troll his own fanbase. Anyone remember "Gloria is my favorite DMC girl"? On a side note, I'm liking the new map. It lends more "dimension", I'd say. Our megalomaniacal journeys will certainly feel more accomplishing now! And I join the majority - victory sequences (assuming they're complete) are pretty bland so far. I liked Yoshitsugu's but mostly because his eyes are creepy as Hell. |

Does anyone read this thread anymore? Anyway, the first thought that came to my head when I saw that screenshot was Odawara, this garuntees the the Hojo will be involved in someway, probably bearing Ujimasa as NPC and Kotaro doning the PC status. I wasn't too shocked about Ukita territory, but that doesn't mean he is in, the map is fairly odd and without borders, it could easily be somewhere different. |

Ukita YES Also, the blue-white spot seems close enough to Satake territory to count for them, and the purple spot in Shikoku is about where it should be for I'm not sure who the green spot south of the Maeda would be though. Maybe Mitsunari? Edit: Looked at my map again, and the blue-white could also be Gamo Ujisato. I don't think that's as likely as Satake Yoshishige/Yoshinobu though. The green spot could be a Kyogoku. While Takatsugu and his brother would be rather mediocre additions, their sister Tatsuko has a chance. It could also possibly be Kanamori Nagachika. Edited by SRS, Mon Feb 15, 2010 6:29 pm.

If that's the case, then what about Musashi? I'd be surprised if he wasn't included, it being Sekigahara and all (I mean otherwise it would have been pointless adding him in the first place) but he's not going to be the same small annoying little brat who looks like he sleeps under a hedge is he? Also, Gamo Ujisato didn't live to fight at Sekigahara, and he doesn't really have a lot of relevance apart from the Siege of Odawara if they choose to include that. The Satake sound interesting though: they participated in Sekigahara and would make another enemy for Masamune to face. I hope that spot is Takatora

Hmmm...I thought Todo Takatora´s location was Igo? The purple spot looks more like Awa...though I´d love to be wrong since I want Hideie and Takatora in before anyone else. They really deserve a spot in a game about Sekigahara. Alongside Hideaki, Mogami, Kojiro and maybe Tadaoki. |

The other person that Shikoku spot could be is Hachisuka Iemasa(son of Hachisuka Koroku,) but he's not particularly interesting for Basara. And Tsuruhime's inclusion kinda negates that whole "Ujisato didn't fight at Sekigahara" thing. He's Nobunaga's son-in-law and way more capable than any of his real sons were, and there is rumor that Hideyoshi may have had a hand in Ujisato's death in 1596. |

For anyone who cares, Motochika and Motonari were added to the AWESOME line of SB Revoltech action figures http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/menu.aspx?menu=2149&category=5960 I reaaaallly want all four of these, but 36 bucks is just ridiculous. I really wish the US dollar didn't tank compared to the Yen Edit: I was thinking about running through SB2 again in anticipation for SB3, and was just wondering: Does the Wii version support widescreen? And does it look any better than the PS2 counterpart? I only have Heroes for PS2, so I was thinking of maybe just getting the Wii doublepack instead... I'm not sure, but it will probably be the new story mode. Judging from the purplish icons (ones that you cannot access at the moment, I guess) you can't just do all stages... And if it was conquest mode I doubt Ieyasu could jump straight to Tohoku (Date territory) without fighting the guys in between. They really should tell us something more about the other modes this game will have. |

This is exactly what we need. A Musashi redo. I love his SW design, and I believe that Capcom could do something much cooler. i was very disappointed with the BASARA design of him. I hope the completely redo him. Also, I think that they should give him some more real weapons. Maybe have the first three weapons wooden, then for the next five, have them be some cool swords, and have the fourth one be the normal swords from SB2H. I've already stated my Kojiro design wish. They NEED to do something with Musashi though. |
