Just a heads up, will be scanning SB3 infos from Famitsu in a bit, not just the Nobunaga part, but the extra parts before it too :hehe:

My play-asia orders (one copy of BASARA for me and a pal of mine) have just gone into "preparing" status. Looks like them Hong Kong retailers probably are receiving those copies of the games now, if they don't already have 'em. I expect them to ship probably by tomorrow or Tuesday.

Yeah man, I haven't ordered mine yet since I wasn't sure of whether or not I'd have a PS3 available in time for the game, so I'll be ordering mine next week. I guess I'll Gan Ning the Wii version until then, but I'll produce videos/streams for both versions.

I'm hoping to find a shop here in LA that will have the game before I go back to school. Definitely can't wait till October to play this. I better brush up on my Japanese or something.

Looking for a shop in LA? Did you try Japan Video Games?

They're only in Alhambra on Valley. Forgot what intersection though. I know they're getting the game and they also have the Hokuto Musou Treasure Box. I drop by their store when I don't feel like ordering from elsewhere.

Here's their URL just in case

There's not much reading involved aside from the items, and I'm sure someone will put up a guide for that. I had hardly any trouble with the second game, despite me only knowing all of the hiragana, and a tiny amount of katakana and kanji.

I went in the game essentially blind and learned Yes/No pretty quickly. For the items and stage objectives I needed a guide, but for the basics, you don't need to know practically anything.

Our site staffer Nouhime pointed out that it's better to buy the Asian version rather than Japanese because it's a lot cheaper. The only difference is that the game manual is in Chinese. Play-Asia has it for $49.90 right now.

Yup, Asian version always comes in slightly cheaper, sometimes (depending on the game) you might even get a foldout paper to explain the controls in English. I bought the Asian FF13 December last year, cheaper+manual, really worth it.

Only reason you'd take the Japanese version is that if you want to get DLC of some sort since Japanese PSN card seems to come around easier than the taiwanese one IIRC.

It's a good thing then that this game has no DLC :P

@ Hondam : That's what I'm wondering about to...the full clash. And Tsuru...yeah <_< ...also thanks for the clashing info. It's three times befor ethe clas starts, right?Or does it start at the third conscutive clash?

@ wodash : Nagamasa, plox. Epic sentai moments and epic male tsundere ending ftw! :woot: :woot:

Though the balance shifted, believe it's gonna shift again here, due to Koba's "story reasons".But,meh.Super Sadist vs Demon King will be interesting now since Nobu is now obviously more powerfull than him.

Masa never had super armour IIRC.When he had war dance on he would :

Have a raise in attack and a change in s-string

have a drop in defence

couldn't guard or dodge

the stance could be cancelled should an enemy hit you

Super Armour means that Masa will reatin the armour unless someone hits him with a powerfull attack[like a skill or a BASARA attack] otherwise he will remain in the stance for the duration of the skill. He will still take more damage though.

...huh. Mine says that it's been preparing the order since the 12th, and expects to be shipped on the 30th. Damn. Hope that's an overestimate...

Anyway, good to hear about war dance. Always liked that skill and it was a shame to get knocked out of it when a peon swings at you. And since there was no dodging or blocking with war dance that happened all too often.

Edit: nevermind, misread that. It hasn't been preparing since the 12th. Still though, hope they at least ship on release date...

LOLOLOL, so I combined my preorder with a Wii cable so that I can use the discount coupon, then just now I received a mail saying that the order has been shipped, but moments later another mail came saying that the shipment is partial; only the cable is sent. wwwww

The game itself is still in 'preparing' status and the latest ETA of its shipment is the 30th.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, but yeah, I ordered from Play-Asia too.

Imagawa Yoshimoto and Hanbei are in this magazine article with all the other SB3 characters including Nobunaga. Don't know if this means they're in or if it's just showcasing characters from the 2nd and 3rd game.

Who's the guy between Ieyasu and Nobunaga? He's in the games OP with Mitsunari looking distraught as he is dead in one scene...

It's Hideyoshi! The ruler of Japan, for a couple of in-game minutes. A slightly less cliche Villain than Nobunaga.

If they are in, they're just going to be drama generals, So it's no big deal. But they kinda look like Dolls? And I think i recognize those renders :kurokan:
