I believe people make it difficult by attempting too much grapples. The grapples only work properly on a 1v1 battle. Better use a nifty Power Attack or a High Ranged Chain (Square) attack.

Kinda sounds like 300 The Movie. Only their 300 (the amount of a supply base) get wasted by 1 guy.

But Easy is hard if you have a lvl 1-10 officer, especially when the only missions you get are 2 stars. xDD Well, my Si Shui kicks butt like a lvl 50 and she's only level 34. :'D Edited by LunarLight, Jul 19 2009, 04:59 AM.

Xu Huang was glowing red and black and my friend ended up dieing thank to him ... and I was yell at me and her laugh like crazy XD and I also hate going to the supply base as level 1 and I did that and guess what I died ... meh

Pretty painful; even with some Training and a maxed weapon. x_x Taking over Supply Bases and Main Camps is a rush though since you have to constantly keep on your toes or get flattened in a heartbeat. The 'Recover' and 'Rockfall' skills help a lot too. =)

Getting flash is harder then you think. The money option is fine enough, but those materials are very rare to find. Only my Zhang Liao has it of yet.

Although I was struggling at beating a stage on Hard (or even normal) with fresh characters at the beginning of the scenario but later on they became gods and just mowed through enemies officers with ease! I need to play Chaos next scenario to get some challenge! And I need to play on Easy as well... some of the Objectives sound crazy like beating 1000KO on horseback!

Get I think it was rank 5 where you can do 2 purple dots per turn and just build up both your level and get special abilities to help in a fight. Then you go ruler mode when you get everything you can and the enemies just fall like nothin and you still have the abilities without needing cards.

But I never bother to play them so I only Flashed 8 of my CAW and all the Musou girls... Knowing what to use and how to play your character is key to playing Chaos. For example if you playing Sima Yi, you know his normal strings are piece of crap so is Diao Chan and Zhen Ji... don't use their normals that much... Like Xiao Qiao, her Strongs are piece of crap, dont' use it... Most important, LEARN HOW TO DODGE... if you don't know how to dodge, you'll never finish Chaos... Not just pressing the button to dodge, but know WHERE to dodge TO... A lot of times you'll find your self rolling into a lieutenant who is just randomly swinging their big thing and caught you when you come out of your roll. I've finished Chaos a dozen times as ruler and officer. Save often, and save a lot. After a while, you'll know what to expect. Btw, riding on Red hare makes killing those small animals pretty easy. Those BIG tigers are probably the most dangerous thing next to those lieutenants. The named officers in chaos should be a joke to you if they are by themselves. And yes, you NEED flash. Even @ lv 50, and Lv 10 weapon, without flash, it'll take your a LONG time to kill anything. Edited by errorrrr, Jul 29 2009, 07:06 AM.

At least, it's really hard to begin with compared to once you get more officers and more troops. I haven't tried the game on a difficulty above normal. My brother hates the normal difficulty because he thinks it's too easy to kill people. I agree, but it's also easy for them to kill you. Honestly, it takes very few hits for an officer to kill you in this game, and that's probably because of the cheap continuous attack of the renbu system. Often, you can keep an enemy from recovering indefinitely. With the old system, fighting a single officer wasn't any more intimidating, but at least they had a chance of regaining their guard.

First Lieutenant Posts: 110 Group: Members Member #22,979 Joined: July 30, 2009 Gender Male	I only ever play Warriors games on normal...I've never tried easy, and whenever I try hard it's usually too frustrating to be much fun. I never have issues getting to a good start with a level 1 character on normal though. Though even on normal, the ally AI can be pretty terrible and they seem to fail at winning battles when they outnumber the enemy. It's kinda lame to feel like you have to do everything to succeed, considering you're fighting alongside some pretty powerful characters and legends. I've yet to finish an Empire mode though, the lack of character interaction or even recognition of what character I'm playing kinda turns me off. They did it a lot better in SW2 Empires. I wonder what's making the difficulty so funky.

Officer Posts: 76 Group: Members Member #16,474 Joined: June 30, 2008	i feel like master is too easy, especially when you get all the skills and abilities like fire attacks for the first 6 minutes and increased defense during invasions, how does everyone else fare on master? and i feel like chaos is too much of a jump from master, its very difficult and i only ended up using my main character in every battle even the mercenary ones since he was leveled up enough with weapons and such, otherwise you would find it very difficult to win. does anyone else have their fair share of experiences with chaos??
