I personaly thought this stage was much better in DW4 than DW5. It must be the map or somethin, even though DW5's map design was still good.Also, in DW4, Hua Xiong wasn't the commander, meaning you could eliminate him first AND sweep away all other forces. But, Li Jue would sometimes run away if you didn't kill him >_> |

I truly thought that stage was a waste in DW5 ok so the awesome super cool general is supposed to be Hua Xiong for the stage and then out of nowhere lubu pops out ...And then ..even if you go around lubu Hua Xiong has no skillz whatsoever  ...although I love lubu's commentary just about anywhere

DW4 : Fun, Hua Xiong gets to shine. Imo important part of the story to include there. Very fun beginner's stage. DW5: Plain stage other than for the supply part of the mission. There's no point in venturing around Lu Bu either, you can just damn run past him. Lu Bu steals the whole show from Hua Xiong. If someone didn't know about Hua Xiong at all, they would be thinking why in the heck is he even commander of this mission ? Sad. Edited by RedFoxxie, Jul 13 2009, 01:24 PM.

Alright... DW4: This was the first time I saw Hua Xiong and actually thought he was something in DW. (No his DW3 time was just fail.) Besides being a generic officer, you could easily tell he was different for being tougher and not being able to shut up. This battle was pretty fun overall and I liked it better then DW5's version of it. Pretty fun part when you attack the supply depot and turn everything around (Zhang He's cutscene is best.) with anyone. Having Zhang Liao once in a while arrive for Hua Xiong (And trying to steal his badass time I might add!) is just horrible. It's not bad enough he get's defeated easily but he tries to take all the glory from generics. :'( DW5: Once you get to the center of the stage everything get's fun. From almost endless officers to allies coming from side to side. This one is not bad. I mean worst case scenario Lu Bu arrive's in the front of the gate because he couldn't wait; and unlike Zhang Liao he successfully steal's Hua Xiong's only time in DW. Ever. Pretty cool having Yuan Shu added. He's being an ass about just everything and his lowly officer Ji Ling and him struggle until you come and save him from one officer and 28 soldiers. (Gotta love Yuan Shu and his pettiness.) Overall good stage, they just over did it. |
