soon after i unlocked all the characters my interest in the game soon plummeted. i tried unlocking rank 4 parts but that wasn't enough to stop me from getting bored =/ and it doesnt help that hard mode soon degenerated into spamming musou attacks once your hp gets red.

Have you tried to do the mission of True Dynasty Warriors Gundam yet? If not that should be worth aiming for.

There are alot of character story missions as well. Though some are hard to get *looks at Sleggar*, but they make a change.

After a while though it does feel as though this game gets a bit boring, but thats the same for most DW games. In comparison, this has alot more replay value I'd say.

i havent played many DW games. the last one i played was DW2 lol. however i've played all the SW games and WO games. i think part of the problem is that rank 4 parts are for the most part crap. to the point where they aren't worth unlocking. i played most of the story missions but was disapointed that most are 1 or 2 missions long and most are like dream stages.

Rank 4 parts are annoying to get mission by mission and unlocking them. Doing the TDW:G unlocks all the rank 4 parts for you, but it is incredibly hard to do, so there may be some SP over using and some interm saves being used if you decide to do this.

I think Gundam 2 is still much better than DW6: Empires. Gundam 2 was a vast improvement over the first game, all it did was add (except just took away the JP VA option.) Whereas DW: Strikeforce was a great project that I think worked, yet it just needs a bigger platform to expand on. Plus despite Strikeforce being great, Gundam 2 I've clocked far more hours on - could be to do with the stories and never-ending missions.

it does get boring, unless you try different characters, after that... no new story... Random battles. Same dialogues; so ya.

Yeah, the game can get boring real quick but like it's been said most Warriors game are the same!

Honestly, I haven't played the game since I unlocked all Rank 4 parts! Playing and beating True Dynasty Warriors Gundam is probably the funniest part (for me) so I would recommend give it a try (if you haven't) before quitting playing this game!

I was very disaponted too. The first one have a much better original mode, here in the DW:G 2 just the story mode is really epic, the rest stories are just flat IMO. No really conection between the characters, random enemies, random quotes, and a lot of missions without meaning.

I like a lot the DW/SW franchaise, but not too much the expansion for the same, I like the stories, the "musou mode". DW:G 2 is like an expansion, a real good one, but with no real story.

PD: Sorry my english, is very poor.

"Boring Fast"?
How many hours have you clocked there?
More than most other single-player/co-op games, probably. Not counting other KOEI games of course :P
I don't know what annoys me the most, weaboos or fangirls.
Probably weaboo fangirls.

I think it could have done with some more story mode choices.

After I had completed them, I've really had no excitement in the mission mode, especially since the characters I want to play as are hard to unlock.

The most I've done before stopping is beating True DWG, unlocking all of the movies, and unlocking all of the pilots.

I tried some of the lesser pilots stories, but I can't be bothered.

No, those three kingdoms designs aren't in DW Gundam.

Anyways on topic, a lot of the story modes are pretty boring in this one(and hopefully they will be improved next time) but I still love the game and have played it for around 200 hours so far. All DW games can become tiresome after a while though, it just depends on how interested in the source material you are.

DWG2 does get very repetitive. The best cure for that is to just aim at getting the platinum trophy. That is what I did and I got quite a few hours out of this game. I am a bit sceptical about getting DWG3 now though. It seems that Koei games never have polish any more (ever since DW3).

I overall lost interest when I unlocked all characters and mobile suits plus finishing all the main storylines... I do occasionally play the game for kicks but there are other things to do really...
That said, it is a well-built game and is an improvement to the original in gameplay, graphics and contents but really fell back in story...

All i can say is that i found it far more replayable than the first game... more characters, more mobile suits, more missions and stories for the best part unique to each character making them worthwhile unlike in first game where the entire cast shared four original mode plotlines.

Heck the game was worth the price for the Dark Gundam fight alone... it was unexpectedly unique compared to the others and truly awesome. The only thing i didnt really delve into the game with was the online modes as sadly they were not co-op game based and ive not many friends who play these games.

The only complaint with replayability was too many characters in my opinion had too little a story mode compared to others... MQuave for example had one silly mission and that was that, his entire mode completed making me wonder why the bothered making him playable given they removed the "uniqueness" of his Gyan when they made it usable by masses of grunts
