Posts: 402 Group: Members Member #16,670 Joined: July 9, 2008	Do you know how this thing works?We've got to meet with each other to be able to connect!It's not something like "Connect-and-play" using like a satellite that can spot anyone on Earth and you'll be able to play with that person.It works differently.Instead,the PSP will somewhat scan around it's surrounding to detect another PSP.This will allow them to connect with each other. It's not like a server where everyone can get in from anywhere around the Earth. (note: Im not some smart**s about all these.Just explaining of how it "generally works". ) Anyways...welcome to the forums.

Yea, I tried it but failed to set it up properly The wifi adapter I bought worked fine, but there was something about my existing internet setup that I didn't get to work properly with the Xlink program, despite the many tutorials available. I couldn't find a tutorial for my exact setup, so I had to figure things out more or less on my own for awhile. Then I got some people on the Xlink chat to help, but they couldn't help me either

Unless you use Xlink.Xlink is a program that can connect you to the Internet and then you can connect with anyone around the World...of course you'll need some "things" though the program is free.

Not in Judau's case since Ad-Hoc Party also allows you to connect remotely with anyone, but through your PS3. So, basically your online options are: 1. Be in same room with someone else 2. Have PS3 with working internet + Ad-Hoc Party program 3. Xlink But yea, even when I had Xlink running I didn't see many people online, just a few Most people are using Xlink or Ad-Hoc Party for Monster Hunter
