They've added a new feature to get around that though. You can customize weapon stats now. Say, Zhang Liao's final weapon, and it took forever to get, but you don't like lightning. Go to the black smith, and use the Spiols of War you received from missions, to put a different stat on there, like Fire or darkness, or whatever suits your fancy. Each weapon has extra slots available for you to add before you start re=writing the initial starting boosts. The number of slots differs on weapon status (standard, strength, skill, skill having the most) and weapon rank. Oh, and about elements, I worded it incorrectly. Only a short term element can be activated on a long lasting one. Meaning, you can't seal AND poison at the same time. I like this customizable weapon feature ... still sad it won't affect my copy, but a nice feature regardless. About the 2 elements, so it will work for Fire + Wood or Water + Earth then, for example, since the Fire & Water immediately go into effect whereas Wood, Dark, Light, etc. have lasting effects? I think I understood that correctly

There really aren't even a lot of dialogue. They could just copy and paste, but then again, do we really want Koei to rush things, considering it's Koei? Just wait it out. You'll be fine.

Anyway, has anyone explained about the tactics? If not then I'll try explaining it. Basically you use the officer cards in a map area to generate a tactic. When you enter the area where you set the cards, the tactic will take effect. Usually it takes 2 to 4 cards with a same attribute in order to generate a tactic. For example: 2 officers with Fire element = temporarily inflicts fire effect to all enemies in the area 2 officers with Intelligence attribute = temporarily decrease enemy attack power 2 Wei officers = temporarily increase gained EXP points for Wei characters You can also set up 4 cards with the same attribute for greater effect. There are also some special effects by setting the unique character cards, such as Sun Jian+Ce+Quan or Liu Bei + SSX. Note though that on the entire stage you can set up no more than 4 cards, so you can only set either two 2-card tactics, a 3-card tactic or a 4-card tactic. Hope that helps. Oh, and the "Gaiden" quests seems to be the PSP DLC quests minus the media-collaboration quests (like Famitsu or Dengeki)

I played DW6, Orochi Z and is now playing Multi Raid Special. Was pretty obesessed with Orochi Z before i got Multi Raid Special, trying to get all the PS3 trophies, short of the costume and the wallpaper trophies only. I just completed the Shu story mode and unlock lu bu. I am now playing Lu bu in Wei story. Pretty easy in the first chapter since i brought 3 allies along. Lu Bu is very strong compared to my Zhao Yun at the same level. I am now trying to unlock all characters. i have all the Shu characters, for the Ta characters, i am missing Diao Chan and Dong Zhuo. Is the unlocking method same as the PSP version? Anyone knows any good cards combinations for the battle use?

I havent unlock the 5 star stages for the 2 stages yet as i am feeling a bit lazy to replay the 1st chapter in 5 star difficulty. For the tactics, i have guan yu but not guan ping yet... so i usually use the xu zhu and dian wei to slow enemies down. did you guys download the additional stages? I completed all the additional stages but only manage to unlock the bonuses for 1 or 2 stages. I always have difficulties in surpassing bonus stages which require you to kill 10 or 50 soldiers without taking a hit... Any advise on this?

Its not 100% important that you clear all Bonus objectives though. There is one treasure that is acquired after completing many bonus objectives, but other than that and the materials/gold you get, there's not much more to them

Only in 1 of the downloaded stage where you can get the green dragon, white tiger etc for making the best weapons and some of the better orbs, there is a requirement to kill 50 without being injured and that is tough

General Posts: 252 Group: Members Member #17,867 Joined: August 27, 2008	YA I WAS SO SURPRISED BY THE DEMO! If I imported the JP version I would be playing 4 player co-op online right now. There are 6 playable characters, 2 per kingdom. After that you are in the town, lots of Japanese, wasn't sure how to customize which weapons I had. so SSX started with at bow and whip. Wanted to give her a sword and maybe a spear. I chose Sun Shang Xiang. I just went up to some guard in the north and then from there was warped to some stage, which was like 3 areas long. It really felt cool, though I prefer Dash and Change Weapon on L1 and L2 instead of R1 and R2. The super transformation was awesome too. The moves were the same but I think it makes us invincible or something. holding circle again does a super attack but that turns off super mode. the demo even comes with the complete intro, which is awesome as well. Definitely one of the greatest demos released. I'll later check if I can choose bodyguards to get that 4 player co-op feel, even though it's with a.i. also, the loading between areas is very fast. the next area is ready before you can start questioning how long this will take. But it felt really cool double jumping and dashing and being able to stand on rooftops. lol. I'm telling you, a DW Bleach like this with 4p co-op would be awesome.
