Because everyone complains so much about the voice acting (myself included) I just wondered if anyone would actually volunteer to do voice acting. For free. I'm not saying that koei is offering this, I'm not affiliated with them, but I think if it was offered, I would probably like to lend a hand with my favorite games. I'd be honored, actually. So would any of you voice act for koei for free? And if so, do you have any characters you think you could pull off really well? |

No, because OMG I'm worth paying for!  I've done voice work in KW promotional videos though (Da Ji, Himiko, & San Zang most recently), I have to say it's a blast and I would love it if I could just magically get "noticed" and suddenly get cast into all these awesome games and such, but I think for someone like me who is intent on finishing college does not have time to pursue it... besides it's a very competitive field... I'll just have to enjoy doing my KW vids when I can get the chance! Sorry, no autographs though...

I would definitely do amateur VA's for free, or do other such web-based commercials, sponsorships, promotionals, etc - because it would be a great chance and an awesome experience to test the limits of your voice, you can do it from home in the comfort of your surroundings, and have unlimited tries to get that one clip you like and want to submit. I loved helping out in the KWVA project(s). I was told who to do, the clip given in advance from the game, and the rest was up to me. Totally great experience overall, and I would do that and anything else that comes my way, for free. Loved hearing the other volunteers too. Being a part-time VA wouldn't be that lucrative though... |

Well I'd probably start off doing it for free until I needed money lol but yeah I can act, I can really, really act. I'm actually famous for my voices and the kind of characters I can impersonate. But if I had to do any one's voice I'd be stuck with Lu Bu since I can replicate his very easily, Musashi and Kojiro would definately be interesting for me, but I'd have to redo Taishi Ci's voice as his new one doesn't do him justice. |

I'd do it, even though I have a speech impediment. But hey, apparently I could get the 'adorable little girl' roles, like Xiao Qiao. Nah, if it was offered for me, even if it's just one line, I'd do it. Just to say I did. 'You know that peon that just screamed 'IT'S LU BU RUN FOR YOUR LIVES'? Yeah, TOTALLY me...' This. That'd be freaking cool if I could voice in some video game ad, or maybe even be a full-fledged VA for video games and anime.  I actually wanna do that one day, but I need to get my life together before I can delve into it. And even if I could, it's matter of finding the opportunity...Anyway, I think I could the haughty, Zhen Ji-types pretty well. Or maybe the Anise-types. Or maybe Judith-like characters... Definitely the first one, though; I used to be a bit of a snob, so I have built-in experience on that one!

I'd do it once, for a laugh. I think I'd be great at doing a voice for Mitsunari, my usual force is quite monotone and sarcastic. Plus I do a mean Criswell impersonation (if you know who he is) which could add a touch of humor to the games. |

I'd do it. but if i had to travel to do it i would probably want travel expenses paid for. i mean i've heard some pretty horrid VA and i'm not hollywood VA material, i know there's probably classes u need to take, but i probably could best any of the most horrid vocies in any Koei game |

It would be a nice way to start out! ^^; I've been told I have a pleasing voice and could do characters like Oichi very well. Maybe even Diao Chan, or Gracia (I can nearly perfectly imitate her English voice actor.), too? I wouldn't go so far as to say the Qiao sisters. |

I think I will give everyone the voice they want for Zhao Yun  but I think going by my voice it will be better for me to character like Nobunaga or Cao Cao

I've been told by many that I have incredible range in my voice and that I'm excellent at imitating or mimicing the voices of others. People I'm good at: JFK, Macho Man Randy Savage, Hulk Hogan, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Rush Limbaugh, Cartman, George W. Bush, etc. Plus I can do a multiple accents. I would be honored to do VA, just to have my name in the credits of a game I like would be worth more than money to me. |

For free? Yes of course! I'd probably be able to do Zhang Liao, and practice a cool and matching Sima Yi voice. As for Samurai Warriors, I'd make a pretty good Sakon Shima. |

I'd be honored to do voice acting, even if its for free I like to do voices all the time randomly for no reason at all. XD I think I'd make a good Japanese Nobunaga or Guan Yu  For english voices, probably Tadakatsu? Non-Koei wise, I still won't mind. I could do one of those announcer voices or those commercial ones

Haha CDM, me too, I'd be honoured if a compagny accepted to hire me even for free, for voice acting lol XD (and maybe only for French VA lol because I've a very bad accent in others languages XD) I like to have fun with my bro, making some weird voices differents to talk. But seriously, no, it won't work because I've a bad shy & low voice hard to listen lol XD not a good voice for VA. [Manji] -Crying- I wanted your autograph :'O Your VA are always so awesome! Hope we'll continue to heard your VA for KW videos (Maybe you'll get hired for VA one day, who knows ? )

I was just teasing. I'm not really so full of myself, or my voice acting. But thanks Qing Long, you're too sweet. I hope to do more soon, I'm always available, it's just finding events that are worth promoting through a video, lol. I'd really like to be involved in a real project one day... I think I would need an agent though.

sure id give it a go. i have a friend who does alot of music and audio stuff and hes said before we should do some voice acting samples. i think i could voice any character whos got a few screws loose, those are my favorite types of characters. Albedo from Xenosaga and the Psyker from Dawn of War come to mind. comical roles would also be comfortable with me. i think my least effective part of voice acting would be trying to sound legitimately sad or grief stricken. i cant whip up tears on the spot. |
