Does anyone think that Koei will come to an end making dynasty warriors and samurai warriors games? If they don\'t then both series are gonna have a ton of characters, by the time they do stop. When do you guys think Koei should stop making samurai and dynasty warrior games? Share your thoughts and opinions on this.You can talk about other stuff too, besides what i have just posted. |

Only when they stop making money. Its like saying that EA'll stop Madden (unless Madden himself dies...). They don't have to add characters. Also...You Cur! |

If it comes too many characters, they couldn't afford to make that and improve the game quality, they can always cancel some characters. Or maybe they can start a new game, with only targeting few characters in the storyline like some RPG things. DW fanbase is super wide in Asia, you need no worries it'll be the end cause the money keeps coming when they release the game, money = improvement, money = challenge, money = everything, and also money = KOEI. They employed huge amount of staff since last year so yeah, they can handle that still! |

hmm.. Well they will face an end on DW or SW and focus on new games which will show up soon such as Blade storm or Gundam Musou which they also will meet an end but not now.. however let's just have fun before there is an end :| |

i don't think ending SW or DW for a game like DW: Gundam would be such a great idea... not saying its a bad game but the other two series are way better. As long as they start making serious improvement to the gameplay on the next-gen consoles the SW/DW series can go on for quite a while, even become popular.. if they start putting some serious work into the series. |

I hope neither series ends, although I'm not sold on the idea of Gundam - I don't particularly like that direction. But basically, as long as the fans keep purchasing and discussing the games; I see no reason why KOEI would stop producing them. If the idea loses favour with fans/creators they can always delve into another piece of history and do it all again. I feel it's a series and style of games with endless potential, I know I'm a sucker for these games and buy them one after another - and still enjoy them. |

I think Koei will continue to make the DWs and SWs so long as the interest is there and they have a loyal fanbase. They'll probably stop when the DWs and SWs suck so much that no one even wants to buy a copy. |

But sad to say, Koei's already heading towards that process with the DWs and the SWs are not so far behind. It's not if the SWs and DWs end, but when they end. |

I think as long as we show interest there will keep being games. I just hope these series dont go the way of Streetfighter. I love Capcom to death but I could only take but so many re-releases of my favorite games before I had to find something else; enter Koei and Dynasty Warriors. Sadly I can see them re-releasing DW1-5 on the PS3 with updated graphics, new modes of play, new stages, and characters. When it gets to the point of DW collection, DW collection XL, or the even greater, wait for it, DWC Empiers, then it will be time to say goodbye. Spinoffs I can take, like Gundam and even Bladestorm, but re-releases......just no. |

Well,if it reaches the point of a major accomplishment and knowing that future games of those are just going to be the same but with more characters,they should move on to the next era e.g Edo Period and Jin Dynasty. |

if koei doesnt end by 2020 there will be so many playable characters for both the DW and SW series. They are gonna have to come up with alot of different weapon ideas. |

For now, i think, Koei many to tell us in the games before can really end the serie. In DW we need more to know about the time after 234AD, in SW about the time before 1561( cause Shingens and Kenshins way begun earlier as 1561, to become a big leader. |

SW will live on at least until it reaches number 6 like DW ;). For DW hmm... I really doubt that especially when Koei keep making character look really weir like Lu Xun in DW6 (he has flower on his head this time). But I still wish DW will go as far as it can and hopefully with stronger character design (I really like their DW5 designs). |

(Lu Xun looks really girly with the feathers n his hair) Anyways, I think the SW series will stop, but the DW series won\'t. There are gonna be about 100 characters, by the end of 2030. That means they are gonna have to come up with some weird weapons, like a kite or tamberines(eventhough they have tamberines in DW BB)lol |
