Come here to discuss Zhu Rong, the supposed desendant of the goddess of fire. Someone said on a Dynasty Warriors FAQ that one of Zhu Rong's costumes makes her look black? Is it true? |

How can a costume make you look black? Doesn't...I dunno....skin do that? She's dressed like she should be, all savage and jungle looking. |

actually, in dw...4 i think, her alternate makes her skin look more pale and makes her hair red, so i dont know how people got b lack from that costume, but i forget the colours of the dw5 costumes, so they might make her black |

Zhu Rong is a strong female character to use. Although her attacks are slightly slow, they're quite powerful. Her Musou in DW5 has a piercing effect, allowing her knives to attack more soldiers effectively. I really liked her voice in DW4. She sounded tough, but mature and wise at the same time .

It was her alternate DW4 costume and second alternate DW4 costume that made her skin look black. In DW5 it's her alternate costume that makes her hair look reddish and her skin more pale. That alternate costume seems to look more like her representation in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms novel. Moveset-wise, I like her C4 and her C6 the best. Aside from her Musou, which is 360 AND doesn't juggle. Her S string is decent, but for some reason she's a character I don't pick up and play very often. |

I don't know about the black thing, I wouldn't be suprised, Dian Wei has a couple of costumes that don't only make him LOOK black, but it actually does make him black, which I'm fine with by the way

I think Zhu Rong needs some more attacks that includes fire...don't blame me if I'm wrong. I haven't played DW5 in quite some time. |

How about since in history she was known as the godess of fire and using throwing knifes,they should make the throwing knifes on fire so we dont need a orb to add element to it. |

I love Zhu Rong, she has a cool personality. Her moveset is a bit on the slow side when using but her musou is very strong and makes up for the lack of attacks she uses. |

She has one of the better movesets in the game, and that would include female movesets. Her personality is kind of pushy/aggressive/dominating, which I kinda like. |

Just went though warriors orochi with her and went back to DW5 to try her out as well. Definetly a big change from the rest of the DW cast with them mostly being quick-agile, speedy and slightly weaker than the others. Yue Ying and Zhu Rong both leave this idea in the mud. haha |

first off i LOVE Zhu Rong, one of my favorite DW women. but there IS room for improvement. as stated from above, her MS should follow the new ranged MS of the archers in DW6, but use the throwing knives that she was famous for in the novel, it would look awesome and make her a bit more believable(that Magma Wheel is just really large to be really useful). i loved her DW4 costume, however i prefer her DW5 hair and headdress(face is the same). in WO she was given that brilliant Fire-God-Stomp special and some of her MS was smoothed out to be even better and less jerky. i will be VERY disappointed if we do not see the return of the Nanman in the future. Zhuge Liang messed around with the Nanman for quite a few years, and those campaigns proved that Shu had the tenacity and power to be a contender for ruling the land. |

If they add in new characters in XL they'll probably have unique movesets. I personally hope she gets throwing knives. |

i never really ogt into Zhu Rong so plain i think Meng Huo was better she was a goo dwarrior in history although she only did one thing which was capture 2 people i think |

Zhu Rong is the ferocious and sexiest woman in DW. I like her movesets especially her musou attack which is very easy to hit your enemies around you but her attacks are not too strong.
 Her white hair is pretty cool!

Actually if you look up the nanman people you will find that koei got her skin tone just right. Although at first I thought she was black when I first saw her. |
