She doesn't necessarily have to just throw all the time like foomin (whose opinion on Zhu Rong I agree with pretty much 100%) said before. And she could add acrobatic and kick type attacks since a knife is smaller and wouldn't weigh her down. Though the chain-sword type thing does sound nice. Swinging a chain around would make more sense than having infinite supplies for knives. That said, I don't have a problem with the infinite supply considering current movesets of Sun Shang, Ina, etc. Personally, all I want is some extra acrobatic type attacks. As long as she has some sort of realistic weapon or something with a blade on it, I really don't mind otherwise.

SSX/Ina have an infinite supply of arrows, Yue Ying's got an infinite supply of her flaming pitch balls, Zhuge Liang, Sima Yi and Gracia just need to recharge their random magic bolts, Nobunaga has a light-sabre...the games are filled with unrealistic events, there's no reason AT ALL Zhu Rong could'nt have a never-ending supply of throwing knives...that is as realistic as having a GIANT boomerang that always comes back. you are welcome to your opinion, but don't just say "something won't work" before considering what unrealistic things the game already has, her husband rips a pillar/tree/mushroom out of the ground and hits people with it???for heaven's sake.

Punching, Kicking and yes using a throwing knife or three. Burning Skulls ideas, seem to reflect mine. Suits her barbaric nature. The primitive boomrang is niffy also. I'd like to see her as she was in DW4, but with some bracers and small plates on her upper arms, much like her legs are done in DW4. Also short hook swords could work with her.

Her musou is one of my faves, though - totally demolishes crowds. Personality-wise, though, she's great - she's brazen, fiery, and always up fer some action. So, Zhu Rong is cool, in my book.

So why cut her? >_> I miss her so much. ;_; And Meng Huo isn't Meng Huo without Zhu Rong. And foomin, he's not being negative, explaining why he thinks knives wouldn't work. The problem is, where would her throwing supply be? She can't just have a bag on her back, because she may be too slow at grabbing them out or something. ._.;; And I wouldn't want a moveset that should be fast be slow just because she needs the infinite supply held somewhere. Of course, they COULD go around her waist... She was one of the best characters to clear a area around her, and she could catch multiple enemy generals with her attacks. Good timing was the key in using her. I do not want all the character to have speed and range. That would just make the game boring. Also you missed foomin point. Other characters have range attacks with infinite arrows, ect. If you remember Zu Rong finished her musou attack with knives. Where did they all come from??? Some love Meng Huo's crazy "Schroom of Doom" attack, but that is realistic. So why does Zu Rong have to be realistic. That was his point, and it is a good one. Edited by The Trojan Horse, Aug 26 2009, 02:20 AM.
