Help: Matsukaze Saddle; can't get it after several tries

Shogun of America Posts: 86 Group: Members Member #20,817 Joined: February 19, 2009 Gender Male	Takeda Shingen, Siege of Azuchi Castle - every cheat site for SW1 says this to get the Matsukaze Saddle, but the supply team keeps getting away. I killed the Supply Captain one time by lucky chance, but I still did not get the saddle! Is there anyone who can help me at least tell me the quickest way to intercept the supply unit?

It'd be a good idea to be relatively near its location. If you go in one gate, you have to fight Keiji Maeda and the gate won't open until you beat him.
