Weapons - Elements And Upgrade Skills; can somebody translate the kanji for me?

Officer Posts: 72 Group: Members Member #22,729 Joined: July 9, 2009 Gender Female	kind of stupid to answer once own question, but these are the symbols i know: 炎 Fire 氷 Ice 雷 Lightning 旋風 Wind something 陽 Positive 背水 Ship 極意 Secret maybe somebody can explain ship and secret. which reminds me of a little side question: in the beginning of the game you get weapons with like 9 attack, i assume playing on hard you get weapons with way more attack to begin with. so is there even a point in putting level 3 fire etc on your 9 attack weapon and giving that +6 attack or so, if you're going to be using a completely new weapon once you get the weapons that start off with a greater attack power? Jasonic is there a site/video which translates the kanji for all the elements and upgrade skills? as i understand it's the same as in orochi 2. which isn't at all helpful for me, as i only played orochi 2 a couple of times, and that years ago. yes that is a great guide, but i kind of know what the elements do (well most of them), i just don't know the kanji for it. and that guide doesn't include them neither so in the end, i still don't know which element is which, because i can't decipher what kanji is supposed to be for what element. Personally I dont upgrade my weapons untill I get 3rd or 4th weapons, 4ths preferably. But no, its not useless. As once you obtain those better weapons, you can simply just move the upgrades you did on that lower weapon to the better weapon at the cost of some experience points. I think you are a little confused. The kanji symbols are right next to the names of the elements and skills in that guide. As the first one says "Flame" the kanji symbol of it is to the left and it says "Attack Booster" to its right. Edited by Totoro, Aug 21 2009, 09:46 AM.

Jasonic is there a site/video which translates the kanji for all the elements and upgrade skills? as i understand it's the same as in orochi 2. which isn't at all helpful for me, as i only played orochi 2 a couple of times, and that years ago. yes that is a great guide, but i kind of know what the elements do (well most of them), i just don't know the kanji for it. and that guide doesn't include them neither so in the end, i still don't know which element is which, because i can't decipher what kanji is supposed to be for what element. the wind is for range. it will increase your attack range. ship is not ship but it will make you very strong when your life bar is in the red. positive is an attack that causes damage even if the enemy officer is blocking. secret is ummm well can't remember. i think it is brave? it increases attack on enemy officers. page one of weapon add ons.. the first one will increase the duration of power up items speed up etc. the fourth one in the list is nurishment. it will have enemy drop more of buns and what not. page two third one down on the list will decrease damage taken. those are what i use so if you want to use them too then here is the way to get them. or those are the ones to look for.
