I was wondering if anyone has actually managed to beat Wu Zhang Plains in chaos WITHOUT rushing the commander...actually play out the level. I use Yue Ying, but I always wind up in trouble no matter how many different strategies I try to apply. I've even had a friend playing the level with me using SSX but the game just seems to adjust the difficulty since there's a second character. |

What version are you playing, DW6, or DW6: Special? If it's just DW6, then you should just try to distance yourself from the enemies. Should be more easy when you have two archers around shooting at the same enemy. If you got enemies close at you, try to dodge and run at a more suitable distance. Then fire again. You should have more trouble with closed range people. |

I did Wu zhang plains with Yue Ying on chaos it was hard she is not the best character and that was on DW6 can't remember alot but i remember Wei Yan dying.

I'm playing regular DW6...and I normally play Wei side since it really seems easier than Shu side. My problem comes after ambush troops attack all of your bases...If you don't go confront them, they'll take your main base and kill your commander, but when you waste the time taking those ambush troops out, you allow all the other commanders to advance on the main base unchecked until they reach you...then you're swarmed and the slightest mistake means death. |

It is indeed a part of speed. Just take on the the people who are close to the three bases, and wait for the ambush units to come. Clear those bases from left to right, and you should be able to go for the enemies attacking your main camp. Sima Yi should give you a hint to go to Wei Yan, and he shall destroy nearly every unit in the south. Once Wei Yan has defected, go for the enemies in the center of the map, and the rest should be going smoothly. And of course using the dodge and staying at a distance (With the bow users) is a good help. Both of them should have a Power weapon with atleast Flash on it. Other stuff I like is having Thunder element on it, and leech to regenerate your HP. Hope this comes as a help. |

ive beaten it with sima yi and xiahou dun on chaos in their musou modes, i didnt rush the commander and it was still really exciting, you have to rely on your allies a lot and make sure they stay well and have high morale, you get more of a teamwork feeling doing it like that and it works i had fun |

I have done this two times playing Liu Bei and Sun Shang Xiang. Actually I play in Shu side because I made a speedrun completing the stage in 7-12 minutes. It was not that easy defeating all of the enemy units and taking the main camp. However my attempts on Zhao Yun, Yue Ying, and Xiao Qiao were a failure. |

First in DW6 Yue Ying and Sun Shang Xiang are archers, which mean as playing as them on Chaos, it is best that you try to keep space between the enemy and yourself. Do this strategy at all times at it will work.  Also have you tried adding volley to your characters while playing chaos, it works wonders.

yes. me and my friends play out wu zhang palin in chaos mode (wei side) i'm using huang zhong my friend use:zhang liao my other friend use:ma chao we are all at lv 49 how do we do that?kill all enemies that is in front of you. speed is the key for winning this battle 1 stage we still cant finish is hu lao gate (lu bu side). only 1 of my friend can finish it. with a lot of game over.me?half finish, but still cant beat it. my other friend? killed in front of hu lao gate any one here can beat that stage? and oh 1 thing for sure. if you can beat hu lao gate(lu bu side). then you are more than capable to finish wu zhang plain |

hmm DW6 yeu ying wepon doesnt help alot in killing.. so i might think SW6S i completed Wu zhang with cao pi :3.. but it was master not chaos
