We the Forum users for the most part, love the Dynasty Warriors series of game. But, like all people we disagree on what our favorite characters, should look like and how they should be armed. With the advent of the CAW system in DW6E. KOEI has given us the tools to make a variety of warriors for our games. This is one of the most appealing aspect of DW6E. So, here is my idea, that I believe could really set a new standard for the Dynasty Warriors series, and be welcomed by the gaming community. A expanded CAW system that is part of the main and minor characters in the game. How would that work, you say? Please let me explain. When it comes to Main and minor characters, KOEI would set the Characters, size, build, looks, and statistics. But, we the players would have to option to change to outfits, and weapon/moveset just like we presently do in DW6E. Koei, would furnish us with a expanded and deepened CAW system, to include both more costumes, and a much larger inventory of weapon/movesets. Want, Sun Shang Xiang with Chakrams and a pantsuit? It could be done. Want Bian Xi, armed with his famous Shooting Star weapon? Want Diao Chan armored for battle? All these and more would be possible. I believe the above idea would not be a stretch for Koei to do, since they all ready have the tools they need. All they would have to do is expand the present system, and allow to a degree player access to main and minor character changes. This should allow Koei to concentrate on battlegrounds, gameplay, new musou modes, ect., in future versions of Dynasty warriors, and allow players to explore their creativity. So what do you think? Should such a thing be done? Lets voice our opinions to Koei. I plan to send a letter with this idea, and your input. While it might not make a difference, it at least will tell Koei we care. |

Well, online co-op would be nice. Oh, wait Koei is already doing this for Dynasty Warriors:StrikeForce for the PS3 and 360.

Sorry but I am with PhoenixofWeI. I don't understand what customizing enemies and already existing characters would have anything to do with new musou modes unless you mean that this would replace the current CAW system so that Koei can work on other things. I don't necessarily agree with this. I mean it would be alright but CAW would be far better. I know that Soul Calibur 3 is so much more fun because you can create your own character. If they did do something like that (changing enemy costumes if that is what you are talking about in the first place ) then it would basically be Soul Calibur 4 and that was not that great because Create a Soul or Character in that was far too limited with movesets and more focused on stats.Of course the gameplay wouldn't be like SC4. But I don't think CAW is really in the way of KOEI designing other parts of the game (if that is what you are trying to say. If not, I am completely lost )

Would be nice if they change generic enemies not only by colors, but some details too, like bodyguards from dw5... The CAW system is very nice now, but it could be better. If they put all parts from DW4 or 5 to rebuild an old CAW in newer games....It would be nice to see my dw4 and 5 caws together in one game. Edited by Dian Kai, Tue Sep 22, 2009 5:07 am.
