This maybe ignorant but I wanna ask something. I'm currently playing Kaksuhin (Iron Triangle) using the Oda in the 1570 scenario. I set the deaths to be actual like recorded in history, but some doesn't really stick. Kicho died in 1572, Motonari lived until 1575, and in 1575 Shingen is alive and well. My question, is there a possibility of the deaths (natural deaths unlike Nobunaga) to stick to its historical value? |

The name is Okuni of Izumo... shall we dance to this ballad of fire and steel?

What the "Actual" setting for deaths does is that it activates the "death" flag for an officer once their historical death year is reached. This means that say for Kenshin, he is liable to die from illness starting from 1577. Due to how illness pops up at random, along with the effect of Bathhouses or life extension items, an officer can still survive for several years past their death date. I once managed to keep Motonari alive until 1578 without a life extension item, just due to good luck. Kicho is weird. I almost think it's a bug regarding her dying early since she's still around if you play later scenarios, I believe. |
