upon further inspection, this Empires appears to be Online enabled?

Maybe have things like 'They're dwindling! Finish this!' or 'They're flank is open' instead of informing us time and time again about the state of Xu Hunag's axe or Cao Pi's tutorage under Neji.
3+a:Counter dialect (A.k.a: Shut up already!) With my previous statement in mind, I would love to hear Yuan Shao shout 'shut up already' after a rather funny quote. Don't douse the poor game in humor, but here and there would be nice.

3+b: option-funny dialect (A.k.a: Samurai warriors 2 empires dialect) No seriously, please make this an option. And actually funny. As in pause the game to laugh yourself silly funnny. Distracting, but worth it.

4:Provincial troop raising (A.k.a: it's where you came from first) You should be able, as a ruler, to dictate the general direction you want your troops to train in, but as a provinicial prefect, you should be able to change their training routine (and thus their stats).

5:fanservice for the kids (A.k.a:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iljY57Pa9uo&feature=related) It would be nice to be able to unlock funny things like Cao Cao and Liu Bei playing shogi, Sun Ce and Sun Quan playing commander as children and other snippets.


6: Offspring (A.k.a: Xing Cai and Gunag Ping meet princess maker 2) You should be able to get offspring from your generals: some historic, others not so. Each offspring would have a potential score in each type of gameplay mode (I'll get onto that next), as well as attack, defence, life, musou and leadership. Alongside personality, which I'll get to. By giving (your) child a training session of your choice per season, they'll eventually become courtiers/warriors/asassins/diplomats/etc. which can be used in the game. These offspring can be saved in create-a-character slot, and the historic ones are born in real time. Note: these should only be available in a game where character death via aging is possible.
6+a: Adoption
Each province's unit captains have a unique number, 1 through 60 000 or so. Every time they score a K.O., they score a point. If they score 20 points and survive, then you may adopt that captain as a randomly generated officer.

7: Different playstyle/weapons(A.k.a: You're the commander!? I'm just a warrior, but I could be the commander!) All officers (offspring and proper) should be able to take the role of either commander, warrior and have one special role (duelist, asassin, engineer, etc) available to them (even generic ones). A officer who is the commander will use their 'command' weapon which has worse stats than the warrior weapon but when they command troops (see next section), they have more available orders. A warrior has less commands, but is stronger. A duelist/asassin/engineer can perform special actions on the battlefield (such as initiating a duel, stealth, using special technology), but are generally worse commanders/warriors. Each character's weapon should develop on their playstyle/personality (see section 9), changing colour/altered edges/different element as they evolve.
7+a: Different costumes. As in, mix and match EVERY DW clothing in existance. But, of course, alterable to your choice.
7+b: Colour schemes. Based on what colour your empire uses, the character's clothes would change colour.

8:Commanding troops (A.k.a.:Left right left) Before a battle, a commander sorts his army into four groups: red,blue,green and yellow. From there, they can select an officer and give it orders sorted into categories. Also, commanders, should be able to set and order non- officer troops.

9:Playstyle/personality (a.k.a: we all look the same in the dark...) Each officer, pre-made or otherwise, should have their own genetic code of sorts, or 'personality', an invisible set of 46 AI codes which determines how they act and react. 23 (one from each pair) are mixed with another 23 to produce children, although mutations are possible. This covers everything from how it commands an army to what sets it off to what kind of women they like.

10: replacement (A.k.a: Nuts to your generic!.) A player playing in officer mode should be able to make their own body/model/ moveset for generic officers to pernamently replace the generic ones, from officer mode and out.

11: Officer creation. Two modes: Genetic and generic. With genetic, you select two 'parents' from which to be born, and their genes and facial features are mixed, covering steps 1a(not 1b)-6, letting you take reign from there. In generic, the entire process is at your whim.

1 select a)family name and b)given name.
2 select/alter gender/build/skin colour
3 select/alter hair,eyes and face.
4 select/alter upbringing. This alters wheter you are a better commander/warrior, as well as your special weapon occupaton.
5 select/alter unit type familiarity. From infantry, cavalry, engineer, bows, naval and special, provide the ranks E,D,C,B,A and S with E worst and S best. From your S category selection, select a specific unit. This is your best unit and personal bodyguard.
6 create/alter personality.
7 select/create fighting style. Select keywords such as 'wild', 'thrusty' and 'quick' to make your fighting style. A slew of moves from characters who have the same keywords and weapon is used to create the character's fighting style.
8 select your weapon types (sword,fan,spear, you know) for commander, warrior and special category.
8 select primary uniform.
9 Record/select voice.

10:Download/online trading. You may download and upload your versions of officers in the game online for download. For extra brownie points, let players download the VA'S versions of the characters.

11: character specific horses. Not pregen, but not swappable. That is all.

12: Musou mode: After playing through officer mode, players should be allowed to undergo a musou mode based on their battles.

13:Weaker officers(a.k.a:No one man's an army) officers, when completely sorrounded, should generally suffer for it, possibly die. Meaning the officers have to actually work with troops throughout the spectrum of difficulty levels.

14:Positional starting. When you select to invade, you should tell the invading officers where to go and they'll move their own thang. If you're in the attacking force, however, you can move to where you would like to start, providing you don't run into the enemy beforehand. When attacking.

15:Romance. Seriously. I don't care how (as long as it's decent) but I would really like to see some work towards inter character romance. And for the love of profit don't make it cheesy or ANYTHING to do with axes. I mean, seriously.

16:Multiple voice actors. For cheapness, get people to send you recordings of their favourite character, following a pre-assigned order set by the head hubs. Alongside your pros, take the two best(and clearest) for each character into the game and let players choose.

Well, I'm still not buying a PS3 for this - but at least the PS3 users are finally getting something! :lol:

Anyways its kind of obvious that this game will be for online. Otherwise they would have announced it for PS2 by now.
