Romance of the Three Kingdoms X; Rated T for Teen Please respond to poll, it will help me make reviews!!! >_< I give this game an overall 9/10, a great stratergy game with the RPG elements of 7 and 8 makes it a game you can spend countless hours on. Gameplay: A truely great aspect of the game. Extremly improved duels since 8( I haven't played 9 ) and unique. Strike,Strike,Evade, Hyah! The debates was also an awesome addition to the game. Now complete weaklings like Zhuge Liang can still talk his way out of being robbed by bandits! Exploring city to city, going to the Bazzar or Exchange, heck you can even predict lifespans and natures attacks, special facilities add a nice touch. Also superb battling system, where again you don't have to be strong to kick someone's ass in controlling troops!( Again Zhuge Liang and e.t.c ) Overall great, 10/10 Graphics: Meh, not the series strong point. Improved since 8, but still not the best. But in all honesty, it is a turn based sort of stratergy game. Graphics are not to important to me for this game. But still, 6/10 Sound: Again not the best, but there was some particular tracks I liked. Mostly event tracks, though. Other tracks wern't honestly bad though either, so it ain't like its horrible or even bad. Battle music was actually also pretty good. Overall 7.5/10 Replayability: 650 characters,9 scenarios, so many different cities, ranks, classes and even portraits. Top that off with a max of 110 extremly diverse created charcters. Replayability is very great in this game, you could literally spend hundreds of hours on this game. I certainly did. Overall 10/10 Difficulty: You can make this game as easy as Cao Cao in Rise of Heroes or Shi Xie in Tremors of War Shake Han Zhong.Getting used to the game generally only takes about 6 hours, and diificulty control is very ranged. Overall 9/10 Features: Many great things in this game. Create a character is very robust, greatly done scenarios and events, officers are great. I even love the dang gallery for petes sake. Only thing it seems to be lacking is multiplayer. Overall 8.5/10 Overall: A great game the covers many areas, I personaly think it is one of my favorite games. 9/10 If you love stratergy, or even just like it, buy this game. Extremely varied and creative, a great game. |
