There has been a great deal of debate about character who may or may not make the roster for SW3 and as such instead stand as unique NPCs (as seen already in both previous titles already) but im wondering who would be ok with the idea of say Goemon, Musashi and Kojiro being in the game in appearance (albeit a new appearance) only but with the view of making them DLC later with a refined moveset and own story modes to boot.

I suppose its inevitable they would instead retain them for SW3XL instead of course but im just wondering who would be in favour of this cheaper less lengthy wait method of getting the characters they didnt want to lose in the first place (again speculation as we dont know the full roster yet)

Well, I guess I cooulld agree with putting the characters as DLC. It's better than nothing.

However you can't get DLC on wii can you?

This is the main reason I want it for PS3..
But no doubt it will get a port since the classic controller very is similar to PS3 and 360 controllers.

Yes, you can. The Wii does have the capability for downloadable content as has been demonstrated already with other games.

Very true, but downloadable songs and downloadable character/story modes are very different things. Personally, I expect maybe some CAW items and music like DW6. Maybe a few stages like DWG2 (likely using pre-existing maps in the same sense). But whole characters and story modes seems out of character for KOEI, so I'm not getting my hopes up.

Hm, do you have to pay for Wii DLC? Obviously, SW3 being Wii exclusive confirms my purchase of a Wii. But I hate when they make all the good content DLC.

I don't recall using the Wii for any DLC. Does it go to the built-in console storage or to your SD card?

IIRC, there isn't a whole lot of space on the built-in storage ...

ya i agree.. but maybe for 360 and PS3 we might have

i accually neve liked the idea of dlc.. but for KOEI its better rather than the same game released with one or two battles and 3 new movsets
KOEI did a good job for empires in dlc's and i hope it will stay like that ^_^
