Well, overall I think it is a very worthwhile game to have. The story of Bladestorm is quite interesting compared to the Warriors games...and the way in which you influence the course of the war is a nice way to progress through the game. (^.^)

Uhh....I havent played it in a bit, so perhaps some of the reviews could help make up your mind....not the ones from other gaming sites...they just slam it as yet another Koei hack-n-slash...but reviews from here and the koei.uk site, although some might be overlapping.

Well, it's a form of squad-based action, more a tactical game (because you have to lead around squads of troops instead of charging in alone like musou games). Good graphics, decent sounds and voicing, my favourite music to come out of a Koei game ever. It can get a little tedious and repetitive though, especially while leveling up new unit types, and even more if you're a perfectionist. Still, I'd recommend it, if you can find it. It's one of few games that can keep me playing for over a hundred real hours of gameplay, and while it doesn't have a "new game plus" it does allow you to keep playing after the end of the story campaign.
I've gotta break out, I need a way out,
I don't believe it's gotta be this way,
The worst is the way that
In this room I'm suffocating

Its a great time killer. If your looking to pass time waiting for other games, or like to get lots of playtime for your money, this game is good for both. You can easily log 100+ hours first time through if your trying to complete the stories, and get the achievements.
