well,guys.here is the topic for wei.i promise that if none of my topics(polls) is closed,i'll do shu's poll next.remember,i will put SOME OPTIONS OF CHARS.i won't put all,because i don't remember so much.have fun and start voting.some chars like jia xu,that started serving others,i consider as wei,because they ended their lives serving wei.

Otani, thanks for making this thread. Like I've stated in another thread, Jia Xu would be the best character to add simply due to the depth of a storyline that he could have. Aside from him I voted for Deng Ai, Yu Jin, Yue Jin, and Li Dian. I would have voted for Hao Zhao but he only gained fame for his amazing brilliance at Chen Cang (which was amazing but I don't think that merits making him a playable character). |

master myllari:two things.first,you could make a what if story with hao zhao,as he did not only participate at chen cang.chen cang could be his last stage,where shu is destroyed,and wei rules.and second:i am still learning english,and when you said thread,i thought of thread as the same as topic.am i right? |

Sima Zhao-The greatest of Sima Yi's sons, could extend storyline so he destroys Wu aswell Xiahou Ba-Great general, fight for Wei then Shu Pang De-No questions we need him back Zhong Hui-Conqueror of Shu, last level could see him killing Deng Ai, Jiang Wei and Liu Shan and becoming emperor of a new terriotory or becoming big under Jin Deng Ai-Simmilar to Zhong Hui, but working to preserve Wei Thats my lot |

about zhong hui,i see him killing deng ai,but making shu pound into submission.then,he could overthrow sima zhao and conquer wei.then he would fight for liu chen,who he would see as a good commander with jiang wei.on wu's conquest,zhong hui would win,but his great ally jiang wei would fall |

Xiahou Ba-is the third best xiahou to me for his skills as a warrior Li Dian-is a intelligent guy with skills as a fighter and served Cao Cao since the beginning. Deng Ai-is incredibly smart but i wish he served Shu  Zhong Hui-is very cunning but not trusted for being so ambitious and I wish he did stage a coup that worked. Yu Jin-he is a great fighter and actually uses his brain unlike a lot of serious fighters. |

if i gave more options,i myself would vote for zhang lu(come on,he was important for wei(his grandson was the last wei emperor) and jia kui(he saw through zhou fang's ploy).if people comment more here,i will make storylines |

Yes but key word Dynasty "Warriors" I love Jia Kui was incredibly smart but look at Lu Xun,Zhou Yu,Zhuge Liang,Sima Yi etc. .Zhuge Liang and Sima Yi were turned into fighters in DW6 and I think there is a fine line between strategist and warrior but a strategist is not used in DW for strategies really only as fighters,maybe in empires but not in XL or regular. |

guys,i will begin to make storylines.i'll make one for li dian(dw7) with 7 stages. 1st stage:yellow turban rebellion(han vs yt) 2nd:battle of hu lao gate(allied forces vs dong zhuo's forces) 3rd:siege of xia pi(cao cao's forces vs lu bu's forces) 4th:battle of guan du(cao cao's forces vs yuan shao's forces) 5th:battle of ru nan(cao vs liu) 6th:struggle at bo wan po(cao vs liu) 7th:showdown at he fei(wei vs wu vs shu) i'll explain from 5th to 7th.ru nan would be good for li dian,where he would test again his might against zhang liao.bo wan po,the fire attack where he retreats.he fei would be his last stage,where wei would rule the land.i'll explain better later |

Ones I think could benefit Wei in the future: Yu Jin: One of the best Wei generals, had several big moments and a strict personality. Lacks friends/relations but the making or breaking of Yu Jin as a DW will how the flood is handled. Ignoring it would be a pity, calling Yu Jin a coward would be a disgrace Wen Pin: Lacks friends but otherwise has a lot going for him. Served under Liu Biao and a Jing native, which will offer him an alternative view, plenty of battles while his empty city ploy on Quan should be there. Jia Xu: One of the (arguably the) greatest military tacticians of the era historically. Served Li Jue, the Han, Zhang Xiu and then Wei which offers him something different from everyone else, will have plenty of opportunity to show his brilliance Lady Bian: A former songstress who Cao Cao seems to have loved. She would help show more of Zhen Ji, Cao Pi/Rui and would be good support and contrast for her husband After Wu Zhang: Xin Xianying: A brilliant lady, credited with some for the whole Wu Zhang plan, predicted the winner of Cao Shuang vs Sima Yi war and warned against Zhong Hui's revolt. Has a lot of relations even if her personality may not make her entirely sympathetic Chen Tai: Wei's tactician against Jiang Wei, not a man especially good in the field of battle but constantly outwitted the Shu commander. Friends with the Sima's but a loyalist to Wei, so much so he died soon after Cao Mao being murdered by Jia Chong. Would give Wei a loyalist angle when things are slipping from the Cao grasp Deng Ai: Do I really need to say why? Cao Rui: Might just replace Pi with him. Alleged bisexual, grew up as a quiet scholar that so few knew, everyone waited outside when Rui held his first audience (with Liu Ye) to find out what he was like. Would prove to be calm headed in a crises and an able general, a radical but proved to be an incapable emperor due to his love of luxury. Would make for an intresting bloke, has a lot of relations to choose from and could provide the Wei focal point for fighting Jin |

Can you elaborate on her personality? Her biography in Rafe's tome doesn't provide any hints, and I'm having trouble finding a more detailed factual source. |

Li Dian: He was there through alot of battles, well it is abit like the thing with cheng pu, he just deserves it. Yu Jin & Yue Jin: THe only reason is so that all the 5 wei generals are there. Cao Hong: Basically the same as Li Dian and i like his history. Cai Wen Ji: Well i just think she really deserves a spot to be in this quite a big history and they could make quite an interesting fictional story. Zhang Chun Hua: Just for the simple reason that Shu Strategist Zhuge Liang has his wife and Wu Strategist Zhou Yu has his wife, yet Wei Strategist Sima Yi doesn't he gets Zhang He instead. |

Yue Jin, Yu Jin, Li Dian and Jia Xu are obvious choices for a future Wei character but i get the feeling it would be a female to even the rosters up a little female wise. Xiahou Ba and Deng Ai would be perfect choices as well should KOEI decide to expand the timeline covered with the current series of DW (if Jiang Wei DOES return via Strikeforce 2 its would certainly be a strong hint to that intent) |

Isn't Xiahou Ba more a Shu guy? Anyway the impression I got that koei could do is "A moral if perhaps a little joyless woman". The joyless bit is probably harsh and is due to her reaction to Cao Pi celebrating being made heir but koei has taken little details and run with them before. The moral bit, well her actions during the Sima coup and in instructing on how to avoid being entangled with Zhong Hui suggest that to me. |

Wei needs another female in even it up. Just to differentiate from the threatening Zhen J, I'd pick Sima Yi's wife, or maybe have her as a unique NPC. If players want Zhen Ji's mouth to be shut (which I know many don't actually want), I'd go with Empress Guo/Guo NuWang, who was a concubine of Cao Pi's, and became Empress after Zhen Ji's death.
