We know that a lot of people who do voices in Koei games do voices for other video game and TV productions as well. But say, what if, big name celebrities did the voices of the warriors? Which ones would you want? |

It would cost KOEI too much and wouldn't be worth it when you could get a quality voice actor for much cheaper who will do a lot more. What the English dub truly needs is much better Voice Directors and better communication instead of leaving so many things to the VA's interpretation. Then and only then can we get a really good VA track for the majority. However, in a magic world where money doesn't mean anything... Angelina Jolie or Helena Bonham Carter as Lady Noh. I'd like to see Patrick Stewart somewhere in there. Maybe as an awesome narrator. I'm going to have to think about this a bit more... Edit - Ahahaha. Someone got there right before me. Yeah, she might be fine for Zhen Ji as well. |

If a Celebrity ever did voice acting for Koei, I would never want to know. @__@ I think its the awesomest thing when not very well known people voice act because you can find unique beauty in them, and it makes the game that much more unique to play. |

^Not exactly. How many times did we hear Steven Jay Blum, Yuri Lowenthal, Michelle Ruff? Johnny Young Bosch? Amongst the anime and gaming community, those voices are EXTREMELY well known, almost as much as Tara Strong, Grey Delise, Cree Summer, Mae Whitman, Frank Welker, Mel Blanc and Greg Cipes are known in cartoon voice-acting. |

Ah, well I meant people like Celebrities I would never want to hear, as in the really popular ones. I actually loved the Dynasty Warriors 3 Voice Acting. Lots of people hated it I've gathered, but the characters really a personality in their voices which I really loved. :3 |

Even though I can NEVER imagine KOEI doing that, or any big names accepting offers from KOEI but yeah , nice thread. I'm surprised nobody thought of Jack Sparrow doing Gan Ning?  Harisson Ford can be an awesome Huang Zhong

Liam Neeson as Zhuge Liang Harrison Ford as Magoichi Saika Sean Connery as Huang Gai Al Pacino as Cao Cao And for laughs, Christian Bale as Wei Yan (it'll fit cause its not like you can understand him when does the Batman voice. I don't know why but i'd like to see Jackie Chan Voice someone in DW i can't help but laugh if it was Xu Zhu then again Ling Tong would be more fitting. But then again any voice he did would be fine since he has done voice acting before even though they were his own games and i know TOO expensive but imagine it still.

Sun Shang Xiang - Rose McGowan - Because she can change up her voice really well from what I've heard. The rest...just because they sound like they'd fit if they just reall got into character.  Zhao Yun - Joseph Gordon-Levitt Diao Chan - Natalie Portman Sakon or Lu Meng - George Clooney Guan Ping or Ling Tong - James Franco Ginchiyo or Ina - Rosario Dawson - I think she'd be nice more for Ginchiyo than Ina (though it would probably still work) because her voice is deep and rich and if she put work into the character she'd nail it. |

Keith David as Oda Nobunaga. Keith David's voice is often manly beyond human comprehension and incredibly intense. It would be perfect. Marina Sirtis as Noh She can pull of sweet, seductive, and malicious all at once. Everything Noh is. Tim Curry as a Sima Yi Few folks make a better traitorous scum bag than Tim Curry <3 |

Temuera Morrison Terrance Stamp would make the PERFECT Zhang Jiao or Sima Yi. He played Mankar Cameron in Oblivion and the Prophet of Truth in Halo 3, he's also in Star Wars Episode I as Chancellor Valorim, a minor role but his voice is still epic as hell. Jeremy Irons would be a great Zhuge Liang Bruce Willis could definitely do Huang Gai or Yoshihiro And Alan Rickman (Snape) would totally fit Sima Yi Just my opinion but have to agree with SmitanSaxon about Christian Bale for Wei Yan. I had to ask my friend what he says half the time during Batman

OMG I love his voice! New Zealand accent FTW! Seriously I think his voice is like the sexiest in the world.  @Loose Canon: Alan Rickman as Sima Yi?! Okay, now don't get me wrong, he has a really powerful voice, but I don't think it would suit Sima Yi. o_O It's just too deep. Hmmm.... perhaps he'd be Nobunaga? X D I dunno, any character as Alan Rickman would be surreal, I'd only hear Snape, haha. Jeremy Irons has a very condescending voice though (gotta love Mustafa), I could see him as Cao Cao. o_O In fact, imagining Warriors characters with British (or New Zeland/Australian) accents (I'm American) is just too weird for me! They've been American sounding forever. X D Though I honestly wouldn't want any celebrities as Koei characters as long as it didn't sound like them, hahaha. I'd keep picturing the actor/actress and not the character. Far too distracting. |

These are all jokes so don't take them seriously. Earlier I said Al Pacino should be Lu Bu because Pacino says some badass things when he's ticked off and so as a joke I said put him on. But after listening to Metallica for hours I believe James Hetfield could be Lu Bu. Senseless yet powerful....
