Hey I am wanting to dress up as Pang Tong from dynasty warriers. This is the picture I am using as my referance. http://kongming.net/dw6/i/characters/pangtong-800.jpg If anyone has any ideas about how I could do certain parts it would be a great help, The areas I am struggling with is the white jacket type thing on top and the neck peice. It dousent have to be exact but any where close would be awsome |

Currently I'm making the Pang Tong costume too. In progress of making the hat thingy. Not an easy thing to make... The neck thingy I'm thinking of threading pieces of broom or sticks for it. I need more time... for my photoshoot.. dang... |

The white jacket-thing looks similar to a kimono, so if you can find a sewing pattern for it, it would be a great hep for you, I think. If not, check in the costumes section for a cape. You can use this as a base and sew the sleeves into it. The patterns I'd paint on. The neck thing looks like sheeps fur and something else. I'd try to check out if you can find those things that officers often have dangling from their shoulder-pads in brown or olive. |

Hey Ross (im ben's roomate's fiance) My friend has already offered to help u with this costume, i spoke with her last night. Her Pang Tong was epic, also ben will b gettin some scans from the databook soon tht shows all the layers and patterns of the costume. My friend hasn't got internet atm but once she does il ask her to contact u if u would like her help ^^ |

Hm... Unless I mistock the english word... but according to my dictonary "Filz" (german) is "felt" in english. I guess if you buy the normal fabric it might be expensive, but there are also simple ribbon-like rolls that would be perfect I'd think. If not, you oculd always look into linen, color it green-brown then put layers of wallpaper glue on both sides until it's decently stable, before cutting into it so you have those little dangling thingies. @Nutella Could you ask your friend if she can scan all the models from DW6 databook because I'm searching the images from all databooks and I miss only these?  Or at least having the Wu characters? Thank you

an idea for the leavy looking things is 2 fern stems u can easily fine them at a crafter store ferly inexpensive. and u can trim them down. to size. |
