I'm in a pinch.. I haven't played an actual Sengoku game since the first one (didn't really like it) and after playing Warriors Orochi 2 again after a few months, I've kinda grown to like some of the Sengoku characters a lot more.. So, here's where things get annoying..Which version should I get? Empires, Xtreme Legends, or just the normal version? Any input/reasonings would be great.

The other two are expansions. And while they are both good, they arnt the actual game, XL kind of is as it expands on stories of characters not yet featured in the normal version. But there is more to the original. If you want the SW experience, then get SW2, and the others later. |

Thanks for your feedback. Really, I'm looking for which of the 3 has the most content (costumes, weapons, characters, missions etc.) since replayability is pretty important to me. I have played the Dynasty version of Empires and Xtreme Legends, are the Samurai versions the same and far as the games' format goes? |

Basically, yeah. The expansions are similar for both games however the SW version of XL offers more in terms of additional characters and the like whereas new characters have not been added in any of the DWXL games. SW2XL brings to the fray six more playable characters. |

Oh, wow..6 more. Do you think XL has more playability than the original? Wait, XL doesn't have a Free Mode does it..? Is the CAW as good as DW6:E's CAW? Ehh..I don't know which one to get, I should have just gotten them all as they were released. >_< |

XL does have a free mode. However, those six characters are the only ones playable in terms of Musou Mode. The other characters are only available in Free Mode unless you use the Mixjoy function which requires the original SW2 disc. It's still an expansion that has no real base without the original. The original has a lot more replayability due to having a greater number of characters available for musou mode. |
