i really wish they would go ahead and tell us the release date for NA....COME ON! lol which also brings me to a question, um...why do sell games overseas like a month or a few months after they sell them in japan?
So they can translate it.

I was wondering if anyone had the picture of Motochika? I couldn't view it and I really want to see how sick he looks in this game. He was my all time favorite character.
Well, I went to dynastywarriors.wikia.com and typed in chosokabe motochika, and it gave me the best image i could find (the one on the official website is too close up for me).

They should do like they did for FFXIII. They started the English production while the Japanese version was still in production and the game is coming out in March in America and the Japanese version comes out in December.

It so much easier...But then again Dynasty Warriors 6 Empires came out a month after the Japanese...maybe it'll be faster this time around...

Think about that for a second. Square-Enix is a big-timer company that can afford(effort and money-wise) to coordinate production between the Japan and US based studios for a huge release like a Final Fantasy game. Koei, while a big-timer in Japan, is not on the same level as Square-Enix: to coordinate such a release may be simply outside of their ability.

Well, DW6E already used a lot of the same voice tracks from DW6, so it was easy to bring over most of the English voices to Empires, and then just add a few more tracks, which means less translating time.

At least that's what I think.

EDIT
Woops, I quoted the wrong thing. Meant to quote a post saying how DW6E came out a month after the Japanese release or something along those lines...

Japanese or English, both work for me.
I just want Koei to port this baby over to the 360&PS3 like, asap. :ph43r:

Hm...You're right Seraphil...lol

@Xin: But also remember that there was also many new voices brought in for DW6E. Meng Huo, CAW (Which is like 16 voices total), Cai Wenji (I think), and new lines for characters. Not to mention translating everything.

I wonder why Motonari was portrayed young anyway? Considering his time was 1560's...

This is just a theory, but I'm guessing his story will have a more supernatural twist to it than the others, where he finds a life elixir or some other method to keep his youth and live past his historical death: his story thus being a "what if Motonari WAS at Kizugawaguchi/Sekigahara/etc?"

Interesting theory right there. But I don't think he would reach Sekigahara. If anything, his life would be extended to Kizugawaguchi.

Motonari will be 103 years old if he was at Sekigahara, by the way.

Age matters not when you're immortal~

And Sekigahara could happen much earlier with a bit different cast as well.

That being the case there will probably be a siege of Chugoku stage where he goes up against Hideyoshi then.

But if Motonari really lived that long historically, there might have been some drastic changes to history.

Koei is well known for doing fictional scenarios of sorts. Honestly? If he makes it to Sekigahara, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised.

It doesn't look like he'll be able to have a musou on his own time. Judging by the cast anyway. Most likely his story will be as DW6 Sun Jian. Starting off in his actual battles, escaping death, realization on a new goal after outliving everyone. Maybe something similar. I'm curious how they will handle him.

That's probably what will happen. He dies 11 years before Oda is assassinated at Honnō-ji. I don't think he'll have much of a story unless they add Otomo Sorin. Then we'll have another rivalry.

So I rewatched the Ina Goes Wild video with her Musou covering the screen in arrows. And I have to wonder, how will they top that with Motonari, since she only has one arrow in her bow, and he starts off with 3 in his.

I am suddenly very scared...

Oh wow, I hadn't thought of that... lol I know it would never have been able to happen historically, but I want to now see Motonari and Ina go at it in battle, one on one (their characters in SW, of course, not the real people  ). You're right, this now makes me very interested in seeing Motonari's moveset in comparison.

Holy hot damn, Ina's Musou is devastating now!

The way Ina's moveset goes is using her bow as a blade, but with Motonari's case he might actually be more melee based. And given that his 3 arrows and bow are on his left arm, he might use his right arm for punching.

Possibly 3 months and Around 4-20 days for the NA release and 4 months or so for EU release.

Just estimating on the near amount of the other game's releases.

Regarding Motonari's moveset, it should have alot of punching people in the face. Yue Ying had fan kicks and all, this would seem pretty *** on a 30+ hardcore male daimyo. I really hope his musou and kaiden attack are very different from Ina. Ina stands still during her musou, but an auto crossbow means Motonari can run around. If he would strafe while firing that would be awesome. Ina's kaiden fires upwards to rain arrows, Date jumps up to shoot downwards so he should get something different. Maybe exploding arrows?

Indeed Motonari's musou and kaiden will be interesting however I can not wait to see a battle between him and Nobunaga. That will be quite pleasing. Nobunaga-What is it that you desire?

Like Huang Zhong in DW5?
If he really uses his fist, then i hope is not the way Gracia did.

I'm still wondering about the third NPC. My big guess is Kagekatsu Uesugi, though I think Masayuki Sanada and Matsunaga Hisahide are also possible.
I've read on Wikipedia that Naomasa Li will be the final NPC. Though, there was no source to confirm it, so I guess it's just a random guess. Personally, I'm hoping to see Kagekatsu to increase a little more depth for the Uesugi, but I could suddenly see Katsuyori for Takeda to increase some depth aswell.

It would be interesting to see a warrior using combat instead of using a weapon. By the way i was looking at okunis outfit the other day and i have to say its her best so far. I hope nobunaga and no are closer in this game as they were quite distant in the last one.
