Awesome... I'm hoping it's not a hack... but then, why would Koei do that? Hm... As for the Kuno video. Well, it was funny when Tetsuo did in last night in the chat, but that one's somewhat new to me. Sorry if I laugh. |

Wow, you Kunoichi fans sure act overreactive over stuff about her. Anyway, here's my perspective about the game: Only beated Yukimura, Kiyomasa, Ujiyasu, Kaihime, Kanetsugu, Keiji, Kanbei, and Henbei musou modes. The stories in this game are excellent...one of Koei's best l have to say. My personal fav is Keiji....you know alot of interaction with Toshiie, service to the Oda, and later loyality to Kanetsugu and others. Though l wish Ranmaru had one though, but O well. The AI in this game are pretty tough though on Chaos mode and Hard as l died within 3 hits on a stage and l had a half maxed out character. The Music is awesome mixed with SW1 japanese music and SW2 techno. The Stages are fun playing.... the Cannons at Osaka, Eagle at Odawara, Flaming rocks at Osaka Bay, and etc.and pretty much almost all the characters appear in everything. What l mean about that is the cut stories characters appear in battles. Noh at Oda battles, Okuni at some, Yoshimoto at the Hojo, Takeda, and Uesugi battles, Toshiie, Katsuie, and Ranmaru at Oda battles, and Kotaro at Hojo and other battles also. SW3 turned out to be a pretty fun game for me.

Remember dear, we may be speaking to those who are to attatched to the character, much like the man who married a video game character and posted honeymoon pictures of it. Yes that IS a real story. Yeah......I'm gonna now switch forces. "Mei Ling defected to the opposite army! STOP WHINING ABOUT KUNO! Sheesh. Nobunaga, Lu Bu, Zhuge Liang, Liu Bei, Zuo Ci, Magoichi, and Nagamasa have all died in previous games, and nobody raised a fuss. It's just how the story goes. Besides, be grateful she's got a story. And obviously she doesn't die in her own story, so please, for the love of god, stop. Or I shall be forced to bring in Tetsuo to sort things out. My question, besides knowing is O and N have any significance in other stories, is if they appear in any CGI cutscenes? Noh got a few in SW2 (drum goes bang bang bang bang) and Okuni got the shaft. (Until WO series) I just hope KOEI became decent enough to put them in a few cutscenes. Edited by Mei Ling, Sun Dec 6, 2009 8:02 pm.

Everyone who was upset over the Kuno gameplay video; I saw that with my own eyes on the stream. Just because it's Kuno, doesn't mean it isn't funny. I laughed and I love Kuno! Sometimes I even poke fun at her~ Nonetheless she still ties in as my favorites along with Nene, Masamune, Mago, Naga, Motochika, Mitsunari... I'm pretty sure it's a DLC pack. Aya should be in there, too, someday. |

Thanks, ma'am. I certainly appreciate your support. Hopefully people won't prod me for content from this point on. I pay for this out of my own pocket and do it strictly as a hobby, so I don't appreciate people whining, complaining, and insulting the material that I produce. |

Tetsuo, that was hilarious, still. But poor Masamune, lulz. not praised worthy by the almighty Tetsuo? @HiMiK0o- She should be. Masaori is playable, apparently. Maybe when they moved the characters over form the blank space separating the NPCs and PCs on the website, thy meant they were now playable, also? |

You probably want to put those pictures under spoiler tags, because not everyone wants to be spoiled for that and people might get angry. Anime style? Did I miss something? New artworks or stuff? Last time I checked the artworks looked like beautiful paintings. The reason as to why they don't look like their CG counterparts ist most likely because it's not digital. In fact most of it looks like watercolor art. You had the same effect in the other artbooks as well. e.g. Mitsunari Ishida. I couldn't tell for a long time wether he had red or brown hair, because cg and artwork were quite off in color. Haven't checked the artists yet, but from the style I'd have simply considered the artist(s) to have tried out something new. Or maybe I just need to check them out again. I admit I did look at all of them once, but then mainly went back to studying the details on Hanbei's... |

I think with the artworks, the artists kind of threw in their own personal style into it. I don't have any problems with that because that's kind of what you do with art; you put a little of yourself into it. Actually, I my favorite SW3 artworks were done by that one artist signed "Wolfina" because it was a little more anime-like. They don't appear to be painted using the computer either. It's possible it could be a mix between acrylic paint and watercolors (though I've only had experience with acrylics, not watercolors, so I'm not sure). The ones that appear to be painted on a canvas with all those visible brush strokes... those are very well done. |

For everyone interested in the history... I've just found a book called "Taiko" and ordered it. I'm not sure which part of history they cover, but they have stuff about Hideyoshi, Kanbei and Hanbei in it (I found it while searching for stuff about the later two). You can read some samples here: http://books.google.de/books?id=7eViflk6d9IC&pg=RA5-PA553&lpg=RA5-PA553&dq=hanbei+kanbei&source=bl&ots=4ssjByY5Qr&sig=OunxW3zq-MtcVrJQC79ziVdQVlA&hl=de&ei=RREcS969LJGi_Abc6rXUAw&sa=X&oi=book_result&ct=result&resnum=7&ved=0CCgQ6AEwBg#v=onepage&q=hanbei%20kanbei&f=false From the few pages I read I can only say: DAMN IT! Koei didn't portray Kanbei the right way! *grumbles slightly* But I still like him anyway ;P Also Nobunaga finally has THE laughter again ^^ The evil, dark one, that makes me happily smirk along. > : D |

Woah, that looks like a really interesting book. I would love to order it if I had the money. There are hardly any books that cover anything in the Sengoku Era where I live. I'll have to take a peek at this later, but good find. ![]() Oh wonderful! They have stuff about the Takeda in it! -- I also watched Motochika's cutscenes... I can't say I'm unhappy with them because they were... interesting. But, the ending part confused me a little for some reason.
