Hitomi, please be more specific with your questions. I have no idea what it is you want to know. If you want your questions answered it would be a better idea to actually explain what you mean rather than reposting the same thing.

RoyalRocket: Go into the Samurai Residence menu, enter the menu with a picture of a peacock (?), then I believe it's the last option. Note that you need to actually have the character unlocked if you want to unlock their weapon. It costs 50 man koku per weapon.

Edit: Actually Fuuma: Keiji, Tadakatsu, and Kenshin are all tied for the highest attack power at 69.

Kenshin? Didn't see that one coming...

Well as I said this is not a big deal but, at least for me, it shows who's the strongest character in the game.

ooohh sorry, well see i didn't know that lol, i have a hard time explaining what i want to know, anyways my question is about the weapons, in previous games when you would play through and finish a level if you picked up any weapons, you usually would get either a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd weapon, and if on hard or higher after special missions were completed you'd get a 4th weapon, my guestion is is that how it works in SW3 and are there any differences? like how the weapons look and stuff like that, my next question was about the CAW, which ever class you choose i.e. princess, female ninja ect., are there only certain movsets you're alowed to choose? if that makes sense...i really am sorry to bother anybody if i did

Hey, I just wanted to say big thanks to whoever took the time to make all those clips in my Justin.tv archive. I certainly appreciate it.
No problem. I still have a ways to go before I catch up to you both  but I'm working on it ^_^

I should have a few more clips in a little while :ph43r:
I enjoy your gameplays ^^ :P..

im watching the vids on the archives now

-edit-

But one thing i noticed though was.. in the keiji gameplay, u never once used his first and second set of charge attacks
I never used any attacks at all

I'm just making clips from Tetsuo's live stream. He usually focuses on moves that can be linked together in combo chains. Keiji's 1st & 2nd charge attacks don't chain together very well with Rengi, I'm assuming

Also, Kenshin was 3rd strongest base attack in SW2, so no surprise there ;)

Weapon acquisition for power, speed, and normal types is random. You seem to just get better abilities on the higher difficulties. Hope that answers your question. The weapons all look the same aside from color scheme. Normal weapons are the normal colors, while speed weapons tend to be blue and power weapons tend to be red.

Nope, no limitations. As long as you've unlocked the weapon your CAW can use it. The only weapon that can't be used on CAW is Kotarou's.

oh so its like DW6? do the 4th weapons have a different design? or are they just a different color scheme like you said about the other weapons? and thats a relief for the CAW thing,

Koei really likes to play around with the color this time around. First they let us to recolor the characters (which is a good thing), but now all four weapons for each character are just palette swaps (expect the 4th if I recall right).

Yeah, unique weapons are unique in appearance and stats. They're the only weapons that come completely predetermined (set abilities, no upgrade slots, set attack power, set weapon type, etc)

I hate duplicate movesets.
So I won't use the weapons of my favourites when I'm creating an edit officer n_n.
I'll instead use the weapons of the lesser favourite characters to try to make an officer I enjoy more than the original owner of the weapon.
(ie little girl with Yoshihiro's hammer - I actually like Yoshihiro's moveset, can't stand the man himself x3)

What options do you have for your CAW anyway?
Can you decide whether or not your officer is a ninja / heavy type and stuff like that?
Or is everything predetermined by the weapon you choose? (ugh - no thanks ._.)

And I hope there's a couple of alternatives for Sword/Naginata/Spear
IE choose your own special attack and musou kaiden possibly.

I'll be making one sword officer, one naginata officer one spear officer and one Yoshihiro hammer officer for sure.
And I don't think I'll be having any more officers than those four...

(I like CAW but I prefer Quality of Quantity, so a few good chars is better than a whole range of random ones imo.

In SW1 I only had Sakon, Ina and Matsu
Think I had around 5-6 in SW2E - can't remember who n_~ (Matsu is one of them - tradition XD))

I leave the rest of the slots for friends and such n_~.

Seraphil, your bond theme makes alot of sense.

And as for VA's, I honestly don't mind, as I thought most of the VA's for SW2 and WO were fine for Samurai characters

I even liked Hideyoshi's WO voice, as it was the first I heard

Well, talking about the bond theme, do you think you can also put themes on the other SW games, too? Well, SW2 was somewhat about Sekigahara and SW1 about Nobunaga?

i like giving female characters male weapons like a little girl with a hammer or a big club and in dw6 empires i have a girl with lu bu's weapon :)

look at this vid of dw5 male characters as females to give you some inspiration

I just don't want to hear Steve freaking BLUM as every other character in the game. Sick of him. :|

Bring in some real talent.
Blum IS talented, dunno what you're talking about.

If Steve does come back(which is unlikely), I'll be more satisfied.
Blum is very talented, yes, but very few allow him to actually work with the range that he has. Everyone wants him to do his generic badass voice.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MIwcMx6QxnU Jamie, The Black Haired guy, is one of my favorite Blum works.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NgMZvRCV_gA Orrr his work as Green Goblin. I didn't even realize he was Green Goblin until I saw the Credits.

Anyway....Does anyone know if Kanetsugu is still a super defensive character?

tetsuo, is it possible to customize the Masanori or Aya outfits in CAW? As in, say I only wanted to use Masanori's legs or Aya's torso, would it be possible to do so?

I don't normally bash the English VAs in favour of the Japanese VAs, but sometimes I think Blum's "deep" voice sounds a bit unnatural and forced. That, and his voice is too well known as Spike.

Yeah, it BLEW MY MIND when I saw the credits for Batman Arkham Asylum and saw he did Killer Croc. I could tell he did some generic npc guards and doctors, but his work as Croc was just....amazing.

Blum has range and talent....for the right price.

Yeah, that the problem as well. Blum, despite popular opinion, has great range.

However, he and other popular voice actors are typecasted into one role, making fans think that they have no range.

Are you asking what CAw means? Well CAW means Creat A Warrior, its in SW3 and you get to creat your own samurai.

Well now, that's the first time I've seen that. Reminds me of Soul Calibur 4.

I can guess that the thick big red line means alliance, and the 2 small brown line means family. The blue one way arrow means they are retainers, and the pink line refers to the couples.

I'm just confused with the green line and the blue disjointed line.

It also looks like that Okuni is connected to nobody.
