I would honestly be quite bored with the game if Eigi wasn't in it. It makes the combat much more fluid and fast-paced than it was before, and it adds the extra layer of creativity to each officer battle.

I enjoy the music, as well. I also got a laugh out of how Odawara Castle's theme was changed just enough so that it doesn't directly resemble "Children" by Robert Miles anymore.

Anyway, I think many people here agree that SW2's "historically accurate" stories were boring and unimpressive overall. SW3's "unrealistic" stories allow more liberties and better character developement. If you've read spoilers, it's actually quite impressive what they did with Tokugawa officers like Hanzo and Ina.
I don't know, I really liked SW2's stories. I have yet to see how SW3's stories will end up in english.
Not saying all of them were bad but those "historically accurate" stories like Hideyoshi, Tadakatsu, Ieyasu, Mitsunari + all females except Ginchiyo and Oichi, were a big letdown.

Yeah, characters like Ina, No, Nene and Tadakatsu had really bland, dull stories. There were a few flashes of brilliance like Magoichi's, but aside from that they were mediocre at best.

Could be true. I've had no problems with those, but I guess that's just a matter of taste... :/

About the 'Eigi' (Which I prefer to call dashes, just because it's easier lol), since it speeds things up a little, it might be interesting. Though, compared to DW/SW, WO was also a pretty fast game, and that bored me quite quickly. I guess I should run a couple of story modes with the dashes and a couple fighting all around the Ultimate Musou thingies. Just to make sure which one I like more. ^_^

I won't deny that there were some disappointing stories in SW2, but I did like the somewhat historical route they went in the game.

However, I like that the SW3 stories will take more liberties in the stories. I find nothing wrong with that as it spices up the characters and the gameplay is going to be good from what I've seen.

Believe me I would take historical stories any day if I had to choose a theme for the game. But what they've done is something fresh to these characters like Hanzo and made their stories very approachable. It's something to look forward to witnessing personally.

I'm not a fan of fictional stories in DW/SW myself really, though it can work if these are told well, and quite possibly make the said characters more interesting.

Honda, there's a Cless/Yukimura 4th weapon video in my last broadcast, if you're interested.
OK, I found it in the stream archives ... clipping now.

*Hopes for no more power outages* <_<

OK, I got it clipped ... now just waiting for them to upload, apparently. I made a bunch more that haven't shown up in the Clips yet ...

I prefer the historical take with a fictional spin, which is effectively what SW3 has done. Many of the stories are grounded historically but have enough fictional elements to make them more interesting.

Kuno's Musou Kaiden seems to be quite the beast. I think I saw her kill a general with just one MK. Jeez.

Love her or hate her, she's definitely a damage monster.
yea that true man BUT STILL her personality still annoys me her moveset's all great but she still kill her own credit when talks ya know
Well hopefully her English voice will be a bit lower pitched. I think her personality isn't so bad, but the voice actress's voice is just too high that it can be a bit grating at times. Too bad there isn't pitch control in the Edit-A-Warrior

Edit:
@Zero - Is that Kunoichi's Special description?
Invisibility and the next attack's power is raised. She jumps backwards immediately after putting the ability into effect. Effect lasts a specific amount of time or until an attack is made.
Not so sure about the last part, but it seems to mention that it hard to use often.

Edit2:
I don't trust my Japanese 100% but that should be enough of a jist. hopefully Divine Justice (or someone else) can confirm.
Actually, it's probably not Gina's fault she sounds so high pitched. I think the voice director is the one responsible for making her sound so high pitched.

Regarding that statement about Noh appearing in lots of battles, does she get unique lines and things?

I forgot to ask how some of the stages look. How is my favorite, Honnoji? I haven't seen it nor heard music from it yet.

Ok, I have to stop making clips for today.

There should be a lot more clips available to view in the Archives, but they are taking a VERY long time to appear. Hopefully they weren't lost when the power went out in our building <_<

I know I made another Masanori CAW clip, Nene, Murasame Castle, as well as the Yukimura 4th weapon clip (and others) from Tetsuo's stream ... they just haven't shown up yet

I'm still working on locating the Nouhime footage as well as clipping the rest of the Dec 6th archives from Tetsuo's & Seraphil's streaming binge

i personally think they ruined the game a little, the stories are really unrealistic,Mitsuhide and Motochika what the hell, cant it bee like DW6 the stories were great gameplay was also great, SW3 feels like the rubbish SW1 with more characters
I fail to see your logic.

Time to whip this out again...

http://objection.mrdictionary.net/go.php?n=3467675
i lold at that, well i prefer SW2 it was way better than SW1, plus DW6 was a amazing game, wat makes it bad?
Yay, another person who judges game after seeing some gameplay vids and cutscenes >_>.

I really enjoyed the storys in sw2 and 1, but i think what some people like and some poeple dont like about sw3 is the huge change in storys, realistic or not, its a nice change from something we have had in 2 games allready ^^.. Allthough its going be hard getting used to it for me, i still think im gona really enjoy the new storys and maybe in sw4 the storys will merge and get bigger (thats if its not on the wii -refering to that odd disk space problem >_> -). Some people like it... some people hate it... :/. Just aslong as the time line sticks to what it was in history (important battles etc) its fine to me ^^.

Hanzo's cutscenes were really great. I just wished they were a bit longer.

The novel DW was based on, Romance of the Three Kingdoms, was also fictionalised. It seems you can't get away from fiction in a historic film/ drama/ game anymore. I mean, even John Wu's "Chi Bi," which was suppose to be based on the actual Chronicles of the Three Kingdoms was highly fictionalised, with Cao Cao's obsession with Xiao Qiao and all.

Um, I think you mean Osaka Castle?

I'm not too annoyed that the weapon system is like DW6; at least this time there are actual unique weapons beneficial to the character you are using.

I guess I can get over Noh. She may not speak in cutscenes...but I hear she's in alot of battles. (I assume Okehazama, Honnoji, Nagashino, etc.)

What stages does Okuni appear in?

I noticed she came at the end in a rather random stage with Kunoichi, but I can't remember which one. I think it was at night. Maybe it was the "Mitsunari Rescue" stage. Yes, I think it was because Kiyomasa & Masanori were against them. Hope that helped!

Any tips on how to make Takamaru's quests at least tolerable enough to complete? That first one is a B and a half trying to complete with a level 1 Takamaru who does almost no damage...

Leveling up the only way? Even that is a chore considering you don't get him until the first castle and you're pretty much in the same situation- a level 1 who does barely any damage to the enemies.
