NOOO!!! Kunoichi should be an exception since she was cut in SW2! give her some respect KOEI!!! theres no point in invisibility if it fades when you attack! Thanks Lord Manshoon hopefully your fight about if her musou is high enough it wont dissapear. |

Well, when I was talking about "level of Musou", I was referring to the role of Musou capacity. In WO/2, the special devoured Musou energy, so you could only abuse it if you had a large Musou bar. I didn't mean that Kuno's special might enhance its duration in SW3 based on the size of your Musou bar, only that since specials don't really seem to consume Musou energy the way they did in WO/2, the level of Musou capacity would no longer be an issue. Thus, spamming Kunoichi's special without paying a hefty cost in Musou energy would allow the player to pummel the enemy without getting scratched, for the entire battle if the player so desired. It would be interesting if a character's Special became stronger in correspondence to the growth of the Musou gauge, but I don't think that's the case. Kunoichi's special will probably wear off when she attacks, regardless of whether she's Level 1 or Level 50. Sorry for the vague terminology I used. As for the purpose of invisibility if you cannot attack, I suppose the designers wished for it to be purely defensive in nature, useful not for clobbering the enemies without fear of being overwhelmed, but rather maneuvering around the enemy when you're having trouble landing your hits, or relying on a little added favor when you have to beat a retreat to find health on Chaos. The latter may not sound as useful as the former, but I suppose the designers wanted to give the players something a bit more experimental/situational to use. Someone said that Kunoichi's special is to be used as a sneak attack. The first attack you make while invisible is stronger than normal, but afterwards, you'd be noticed by the enemy. |

That sounds about right. That was the same deal with Kojiro and his special in SW2XL. It wasn't designed to give you a blanket of invincibility, but rather to position yourself and better strike out at the enemies in front of you. (Hmmm... maybe Kunoichi assassinated Kojiro and absorbed his soul for sustenance? It's funny how he's missing and she's back with one of his tricks... )

Anyone know a good stage to farm good weapons for lower level characters? So far this game's proven to be a great distraction for me. |

Not exactly, for what it appears. Charge and normal type characters now come with one unique special attack/ability. Only special type characters have two special attacks/abilities. |

From her cutscenes, no she mainly interacts with Kunoichi Shame that, beacuse there could of been a legendary Nene vs Kaihime catfight |

I think it would be much more legendary if they wait for SW4 and introduce Chacha too. Heck, if they add ChaCha and her sisters in (even if the sisters are NPCs), they could have ChaCha fighting for Hideyoshi's favor AND have her fighting her sisters who ended up on other sides of the war. She could have the most complicated story ever. |

Talk about a clusterf***. But one that I would love to see! I mean, to those that don't know history, they'll be wondering why three ladies would be fighting over Hideyoshi, of all fellows. That'd be great. But, correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Chacha not really liking Hideyoshi? Or am I confusing her with another of his wives/concubines? |

I think it was Oichi and Yodo [Cha-cha] that didn't like Hideyoshi. I'm not sure about her sisters Ohatsu or Oeyo on Hideyoshi. You can only imagine her feelings toward Hideyoshi since after Nagamasa's death, Hideyoshi became her adoptive father, but then had her become his concubine when she was older. That's awkward, no? |

Beat all stories. I must say, I am quite happy with what Koei has done with this. Easily matches if not tops SW2XL as my favorite SW game. Once the inevitable PS3/360 version comes out I'm sure I can definitively say it will be my favorite SW game. |

But that only makes things more interesting. Chacha doesn't have to like Hideyoshi, but she sees the power associated with being his favorite. Nothing like someone fighting for the eye of someone she doesn't even like, in my opinion. |

I really hope it drops into the PS3. I fear for Koei's survival if they rely on the Wii alone. It's always best to sell out to all the available consoles. I bet you've already seen the hatred, long-time fans going crazy over it being Wii rather than Playstation.. Even I might drop it, because I'm not buying a Wii JUST for that game. |

Is it? Where's your proof? Do you have cost vs. profit analyses to prove this? Or is this your "common sense" as a customer. The fact is, if this was as cut and dry as we all like to pretend it is, there would be no exclusives. But there are, so obviously there must be some advantage to it for these businesses. Obviously all gamers want their favorite games to come out for the console(s) they own, but that's not always going to happen. But coming up with "facts about the industry" with no proof does nothing to improve your argument; it just adds fuel to the flame wars that are already in progress. PS No one cares if you or anyone else for that matter is going to buy a Wii or not. Sorry for such bluntness, but seriously, we all get it; people are butthurt about the system switch to a console they might not have. But either they find a way around it, like borrowing a Wii or even buying one, or they just move on. There's no need for everyone without a Wii to announce "I don't have a Wii so I will not buy this Wii game". We get it and we don't really care. Have fun with your PS2/PS3 games, and Good Day, Sir. Then find another reason to get a Wii. SW3 isn't the only game worth getting on the Wii. And if you have any more issues, move to the complaints thread. If even here in the main thread there will be anti Wii movements, some of us might as well just avoid this thread altogether. |

An opinion that's been echoed way too much lately. The fanbase right now... I don't really blame them but, honestly. I sincerely hope this game stays on just the Wii, that's all I'll say about that. This has likely been answered somewhere but with a thread like this I'd have no idea where to look so I'll ask. How are the stages in this one compared to Samurai 2? Some like Nagashino and Sekigahara seem much more fun to playthrough while others like Odani Castle seem trimmed down. Is it half and half or is pretty much every stage a lot better now? I've noticed that in Hell the enemies seem to drop no health restorers. Is health only recoverable now by what you "pack for yourself" from the preparation screen? |

It depends. Honestly, I'd say stages in SM2 were overall a lot better than the ones we got for SM3 if not just for the fact that basically all of them were unique. While all of the stages that remained unique in 3 are better than their SM2 counterparts (Sekigahara comes to mind. Much more enjoyable. Komaki, too), all the other stages seem watered down, mostly due to the fact that besides maybe 10 or so stages in the game all of the other scenarios share maps with other ones. Odani for example is the same map as Hasedou, which is also the same map as Kyushu, etc. In the end it just takes a lot away from the game, but hopefully the expansion will fix this and give us a lot more unique stages. |
