I gotta say that the port talk has really gotten tedious. Will they port it? Is it smart too port it? No one knows and most of the time people constantly mentioning how they want it on ps3 come off like whining kids who got their favorite toy taken away. If ports come, then they come. If not, then oh well. No one was ever promised one. I am more than happy with the Wii game as it is and IF they do bring it to another console I'd consider about getting it again.

At this point however, I would rather they leave SW exclusive to Wii and just take use their time / money instead to take all the new characters and gameplay additions and add it to a new Orochi game; which is then released on PS3, 360, and PC. Not to mention if that game used the Hokuto Musou engine ... that would be simply amazing, lol. Just imagining being able to play with Ujiyasu, Motonari, and Kaihime doing a triple team Kaiden with Hokuto Musou level graphics ... Posted Image

Koei shouldent mix the graphics and game engine from there games.. Leave them seperate... or else.. whats unique about them..

Thats what makes dw6 and sw3 different anyway.. and i like that..

Also i would say there triple attack would look the same as the rest of the people paired together who have nothing in common.

Well I was just using the 3 of them as examples because they were new SW3 characters and Kaiden is a new SW3 gameplay feature. I wasn't saying I expected a unique triple attack from that specific team. I just hope we get a Orochi 3 sometime down the line (not anytime soon since we have SW3, DW:SF PS360, HM, and MR2 all coming this year) that incorporates improvements from this game. And the Hokuto engine thing was just an idea because it is probably the best looking Musou game they have created graphically and I would love to see them make one of their trademark games with that level of detail, not that it would be necessary to make it fun or anything tho.

Thats true :(.. But they could bring a relative (son?) to the world for revenge.. and he can this time be betrayed by some of warriors like lu bu, masamune, dong zhuo or even simi yi, kotaro or keiji, after finding out something that makes him good.. so then oroich's son could be with the good guys to take the land back and whatever.. :)

'.'

But i dont think theres any relatives of any type seeing as he was a mythic beast thing..

Also i think we should carry on this discussion in a warriors orochi topic or make a new one.. as this is off topic :(

well they could just do to the Orochi searies, what they do to DW and SW

Re-create the story involving the new characters introduced in SW, and the new desings and weapons of the DW characters from DW6 searies.

add some new WO origonals maybe

add new features like a edit mode or something.

We all know Warriors Orochi 3 is inevitable, and is almost 100% going to include new characters and the new character models from SW3.
So the Wii got Samuari Warriors 3, its a little rough round the edges, and to be totally honest, i enjoy Warriors Orochi games more, so SW3 is nothing to cry over if you know what i mean.

This whole talk about "I want the game for PS3" makes sense, however, I'm somewhat tired of the discussion.

It would be nicer to have better PS3-quality graphics but honestly, it's not necessary. The Wii's graphics are perfectly fine for my tastes.... in fact, I think they look great. I hated all the changes that they did with Dynasty Warriors 6 (as if you didn't already know that, lol)

The only thing they can really claim that the PS3 is better for, is the graphics. The whole controller debate is ridiculous considering the classic controller plays just like the other console's controllers. I use it for games like Muramasa and Brawl and it works excellent. I enjoy using it.

I believe Ixbran stated about a page or so earlier that the reason for the Wii-exclusive release was due to the sales in Japan...? While this might be a good reason, that was very much worth noting... the remake of Murasame is the only true reason I could think of for a Nintendo-only release. Murasame belongs to Nintendo, after all.

I dunno. Maybe I'm just a biased Wii-fanboy whose opinion is just as one-sided as all the other people talking about how it should be for PS3...? I'm perfectly fine with it being on the Wii, while I'd much MUCH rather it being on PS3, PS2, or.... -sigh- Ecksbawks.

And like stated before, SW3 gives KOEI the motivation for a new Warriors Orochi game, that wont have Nintendo-binding modes. So the other folks will get to use them then.

Well, we all know the game itself didn't sell well in comparison to SW1 and SW2, but did it at least succeed in bringing Wii sales up? Does anyone have privy to that information?

If it did bring up Wii sales, then good for Koei and mission somewhat accomplished. If not, then I wonder 'why do they even bother?' Not to bash the Wii (and annoying to have to put this disclaimer in), but if it didn't even get the hardcore SW fans to get a Wii then fission mailed, sir.

I looked at the sales not to long ago, i discussed this aswell.. and by the looks of it, it did pretty well..

allthough compared to new super mario bros wii which came out the same time... it sold almost nothing :/

Yes. I reiterate the point again. New Super Mario Bros Wii, plus the impending release of Final Fantasy XIII, really did put a hamper on sales. It's not because of the notion that the Wii is a bad console.

Of course, there's no good or bad console, there are good or bad games!!!!!!!!!!!
Still I hope for a port because I'm not really interested in other games than SW3 on Wii, I prefer my PS3 because I prefer games that are on it!

I think I can help you with that:

The sites didn't show the sales for the game that aren't in the top 10, but VGChartz did show the following weeks sales (seems pretty accurate to me).

Week of 12/10 (SM3): 121,000
Week of 12/17 (FFXIII): 33,511
Week of 12/24: 23,742

http://www.gpara.com/ranking/mediacreatebn/ranking_20091210.php
http://www.vgchartz.com/games/game.php?id=37512

Not to mention that Phantasy Star Portable 2, GvG Next Plus, AssCreed 2 and PokePark Wii were all released on the same week as SM3 and NSMBW. You can see their sales on the page too. ^^

Sorry for breaking into a conversation, I have got the OST CD of the game, and it has two bonus tracks. I have ripped the flac+cue and scanned the booklets, but sorry they are in zipx archive and you must extract it using Winzip 12 because I cannot upload rar and 7zip to Mediafire. (This is a repost because I have reuploaded the files more than 10 times on mediafire, due to extract problem)

Murasame boss battle from wonderpierrot starring Kunoichi.

Apparently, you can access cannons behind the breakable wall and then use them to destroy something (don't know what it's for but it looks like it makes Murasame's glowing parts easier to take out).

I'm pretty sure the thing Kuno destroyed with the cannon has nothing to do with Murasame's glowy bits. I think it has something to do with the teleport fireball danmaku attack that we saw Murasame do in another video. I noticed that the force field went down when the side parts were destroyed. And if the fireballs came out of there, they might not be able to anymore.

Watching that video, I couldn't help but think about Strikeforce

I think wonderpierrot made it look a lot easier than it really is though ... based on what I've read about the rest of Murasame Castle anyway.
